5 stars because for the quality and cost of the salad I bought there today($13?!!!!!) I was speechless. If you work downtown you must hit this place up for lunch. I’ve had the gumbo several times it’s decent, sometimes salty, yet still I crave it.

We stopped here for the Saint Patrick’s day Running of the Green and the Parade . I was a little skeptical, but they blew me away . This was hands down one of the best Rubens I have ever had . The meat was house smoked and the sauce was fantastic. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection . If you are in the area this is a must stop, the reat of the regular menu looked awesome

Gumbo was revolting.
It tasted too bitter and salty with no spice
what’s throwing me off is that there’s almost no solid food in this I had to scrape the bottom to bring up the stuff shown in those pictures.
And secondly It just tastes like oily sour broth. With the same consistency. No hint of warmth or spiciness Not picking up on the holy Trinity here.
Sausage didn’t taste warm or spicy it kind of reminded me of unflavored kielbasa.
I would think at the very least there would be a decent amount of rice I mean
Glad to try the gumbo before committing to a bigger dish
Maybe they were just having an off day January 3th
