Frenchies is a very intimate setting, they have the capacity to seat at most 12-14 people. It is ran by a wonderful couple! Whomever is seated first gets their drinks and food order taken and remaining tables to follow in order, so if you are last to be seated, you may wait a little bit but it is entirely worth it! This place is a gem, hands down. Wonderful cozy vibes, delicious high quality coffees and high quality food! Love it there, definitely recommend!

This cute little restaurant is family run and their hearts are put into the food and service. Small charm dining which provides home cooked food when you are away from home. Not for large groups but perfect for smaller intimate meals. The Egyptian beans were amazing, the bread is homemade and the cappuccino was the best I’ve had in a very long time. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious too and I could taste the butter in them. So good! Can’t wait to come back. Love the style of this place.

Frenchies Famous in Traverse City is an absolute gem! I had the Chorizo omelette and it was easily the best omelette I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and the addition of fresh toasted bread took it to another level. The vibe here is warm, welcoming, and laid-back, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Traverse City — you won’t be disappointed!

Frenchie’s was an incredible place to visit for breakfast in Traverse City! We sat inside, at one of about 4 tables, but there is outside patio seating as well. Not only is the place incredibly cozy and welcoming, the food was delicious! We tried the Egyptian Breakfast Beans, which were unique and very flavorful. We also tried the Frenchie’s American, which came with garlic potatoes (yumm) and the most divine homemade biscuits and jam I’ve ever had!! Seriously, we’re planning on coming back and getting biscuits to-go before we leave Traverse. The service was also wonderful, kind and friendly. 100% recommend if you’re in the area!

Cozy, funky space with great service and food! We had heard about Frenchies for years and finally stopped in. It was a great experience all around. I had the American – Chorizo omelette with biscuits and garlic potatoes and my wife had the Egyptian beans with Focaccia. Both dishes were amazing. We will be back and have encouraged others to stop by!

I had a nice breakfast at Frenchies one Friday morning. It’s a small, cozy place, and I got a small table in the corner. The mushroom omelet was a special that sounded good, so I went with that. It was delicious, and packed a lot of mushroom flavor. The bread with jam was also nice and soft. I’m glad I got in early, as I could easily see this place filling up quickly. Service was friendly, and prices seemed fair. I’d definitely go back again for breakfast.

Delicious delicious food. What a fun find! A small environment but cozy, glad we got in when we did. The owner was very welcoming and the food was outstanding
We ordered the Egyptian beans and a side of the maple sausage and the American. All of it was delicious. The sausages were very sweet, you could taste the maple. The biscuits and jam were probably the best of what we ordered, but it was all delicious. Can’t wait to come back again!

Amazing homemade food! Had farm to travel vibes and the cutest location. Very small and cozy like a little hobbit hole.

Get there early! Tables are limited. And the wait is long but worth it.

They had great vegetarian options. The bread and jam is also fresh made

The food was absolutely delicious. We got potatoes, the Egyptian breakfast, the smoked salmon omelet, the tomato omelette, bread and jam, and the pastrami.

10/10 would recommend

Traverse City is so lucky to have a restaurant like Frenchies. Any time I can visit that patio to have an amazing coffee and breakfast is the best day! The biscuits are made perfectly every time and the server is always lovely. It’s quaint and perfect I love everything about it.
If you’ve never been there is about 8 seats inside and 10 outside so plan accordingly.

Don’t expect to get a bang for your buck here, not even for a simple breakfast. Had to walk back to the car twice to put more quarters in the parking meter not knowing when our order would come out. It was easily an hour before it did. On a positive note, the server was pleasant and the place had a nice vibe. The bottom line here is my wife and I can go out for an excellent perch dinner and a drink each for the price of this breakfast.
$50.00 for breakfast is ridiculous.
