Best coffee I have had so far in NOLA!

My experience drinking coffee in NOLA was not the best. In some cases too watery. Other times too strong. in French Truck Coffee I found the best coffee in NOLA.

This place has a cool and chill vibe. The service staff gave us a warm welcome. We had 2 lattes and one berries muffin with lemon custard (this is how I describe it since I do not remember the name of the pastry). Both the coffee and the pastry were delicious.

I am sad I am leaving the day after I found it but I have a NOLA Coffee place already spotted for my next visit.

This is a fun and cute coffee shop chain we saw in multiple areas of New Orleans. They decor and art are fun, the service is fast and friendly, and the coffee is great! They have merchandise too! We got a hot drip coffee and an iced coffee – both New Orleans style with chicory. If you see one, stop by!!

First time at French Truck Coffee. What we liked when we walked it was the bright and happy space. The yellow totally pops! We ordered iced chai latte and New Orleans iced coffee with almond milk. I appreciate that they have milk alternatives. For a quick snack, we ordered the strawberry pistachio pastry. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend if you are waiting for the shops to open on Magazine St. Hop on Hop off stop #12

They add on a tariff surcharge to your coffee order. The coffee is decent and the atmosphere is akin to a chipotle with yellow paint.

This is a nice little coffee shop. It’s very simple. My latte was good. This is a friendly place to kick-back and relax for a while. It had other customers but it was not too busy. My only complaint is that they charged a lot for an extra shot of coffee. But otherwise, we like this place.

A matcha girl at heart! The best refreshing matcha to have in the hot summer heat. The coffee was extra potent and delightful. Just watch the method!

Won’t recommend the hot latte. Because when I ordered a Caramel Latte (small), I got a caramel flavored warm milk instead. Couldn’t taste the coffee. Can’t imagine what the large size which has the same amount of shots would taste like. The cappuccino was average.
There are great non-chain local options on the street. This one may compares or competes with Starbucks.
The service and ambience/space are good. Indoors is air conditioned plus a nice relaxed outdoor patio seating.

Service was great. We even noticed they sell merchandise from a coffee roaster local to us in NC, which was cool. However, the holiday blend we had was disgusting. We stomached a few sips then promptly threw it in the trash. We think it was the cherry in the blend that gave it a very weird taste that was not pleasing. We’re coffee snobs, so we drink coffee from local roasters often and prefer them over large chains. I’m sure some other blends are great, but this did not leave a good impression on us and we didn’t give it another try during the week we were in town. It was recommended to us by a local, but it was definitely last on the list of ones we tried that week. The bathroom sign did make me laugh.

I ordered New Orleans Iced Coffee (semi-world famous drink composed of Coffee, Chicory and Milk shaken over the ‘good ice.’) and went back the next day for another one. Delicious! We also ordered praline coffee, a muffin and an almond croissant.

Cool chill spot with nice ambiance and coffee . Coffee beans were good , the taste of the beans were strong and accurate for the region. Good roasted and smell. The cappuccino could’ve been done better . The technique of the coffee could’ve been better . 5 stars for the entire experience . Staff was nice and friendly
