Had a great brunch at French Toast Bistro in Clawson today. We tried the Arcadian Benedict, the Cajun Hash, and the daily special French toast — everything tasted fresh and delicious. The flavors were well balanced and the portions were generous.
A special shoutout to Mohmad, who recommended some of the dishes and made sure our visit went smoothly. He was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better.
Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the service. Definitely a place we’d come back to for brunch!

Amazing Experience at French Toast Bistro!
From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated with nothing but kindness and exceptional service. Even though it was reservation-only, Lisa the manager welcomed me and allowed me to dine in, which I truly appreciated. My server, Destiny, was absolutely darling warm, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed.
The atmosphere was lovely, the hospitality was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend French Toast Bistro in Clawson for a great dining experience.

A great brunch place in Clawson.
We came in on a busy Saturday morning for a quick brunch with friends. We had a really great meal and a great time.
The place is small but they do a really good job with the space and it has two bars!
They have a decent brunch menu, a nice lunch menu, and a lot of other things including a lot of alcohol.
Everything we had was absolutely delicious. It looks great. It tasted great. Can’t complain about any of the food.
The service was also excellent, our waitress made suggestions on the menu was on top of refills. It was generally incredibly friendly and attentive.
Highly recommended.

New Gem for me in the neighborhood! I randomly selected this place from Google looking for brunch with a friend! Oh, I was impressed by everything the ambiance, the staff, the low crowd and the fantastic food! I had the salmon and grits with shrimp added. I ate every bite I will definitely be back soon! I can’t say enough about this experience. Truly top tier with reasonable prices and excellent service and food!

Dinner was fantastic! I had the steak fries and my husband had the short ribs. We both loved them. Very delicious fig mocktail, peach cobbler and beignets. Amazing, friendly service. Will definitely come again for dinner!

What a pleasant surprise. We have been to other restaurants that have occupied this space in recent years, and we’re less than impressed, so our expectations were not great. We walked in and the place looked awesome. We were able to get a booth after a short wait and we’re greeted by our server Mohamed. Very personable guy with some great recommendations. I started with a Bloody Mary, and my wife a Raspberry Mimosa. Both were very tasty! I ordered the Lobster Omelet with Cheesy Grits & Debbie got the Crab Cakes Benedict with Cheesy Grits. Everything was really fresh and REALLY GOOD. Finally a restaurant at this location that we will return to.

I recently visited French Toast Bistro in Clawson and my dining experience was a disappointment. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, expecting a classic, flavorful dish. Unfortunately, it completely missed the mark. The “hollandaise” sauce looked more like mustard and lacked the bright, lemony flavor that defines a proper Benedict. Instead of the traditional English muffin, it was served on what tasted like a soda muffin — an odd and disappointing choice. Both the eggs and potatoes were over cooked and burnt and the up charged Spinach side was good. Overall, the dish was poorly executed and far from authentic. I left feeling very let down. My friend said the Plymouth locations food was much better.

My wife and I just happened to end up here out of the blue and found out they are serving Dinner with a capital D! I had the short rib with Brussels sprouts over mashed potatoes. Honestly I’d come back just for the compounded butter. The wait staff was super friendly and the fig-mocktail was a huge hit with my wife. Tied up really nicely with a bowl of peach cobbler and some beignets.
