What a shame. The first order of crawfish was inedible. The replacement was 80% claws with rotten potatoes and disgusting corn. Servers were publicly complaining about management. No service on the patio whatsoever. There are too many good places in Boulder to eat. Not this one.

I had made the incorrect assumption that this was another sort-of chain restaurant that would be crummy. Boy was I wrong! Amazing and fully legit catfish poboy and the oysters my neighbor had looked delicious. Can’t wait to go back. Get on this folks! We need more real food like what they’re serving up here!

Very good. Best Cajun food since New Orleans. Pan roasted alligator was suggested by our server and couldn’t have been better.

Incredible place. Sounds like they got off to a rocky start, but their new chef and staff are absolutely wonderful. Ordered fried deviled eggs (which we thought might be too rich, but were done and presented PERFECTLY), Alligator Poutine, Fried Oyster Po Boy and the Shrimp and Grits. Food delicious, (plus the Po Boy was HUGE) service was fast and friendly, and I really dug the dark, relaxed environment. Great spot for dinner. Hope to come back again soon!

Great food and good, friendly service, though it could drag a bit at times. Didn’t have a chance to try the cocktails, but beer selection was good. (Though two of the beers I’d wanted had kicked, alas!) Prices were a little high, but not far off the average for Boulder. Free beignets for first timers definitely ended the experience on a positive note. I’d like to come back for the live jazz and a Sazerac sometime!

Pretty disappointed with this place. Awkward interactions and subpar food that’s overpriced. I have to say that the restaurant aesthetically is fantastic! It’s a perfect location, the patio is super cute, the decor is spot on, overall it feels like a really cool spot. However, the food was not good. The oysters were still attached, and not nearly as fresh as Jax. The crawfish étouffée was pretty mediocre and WAY overpriced. The fish salad had some weird orange dressing that tasted like a candy sauce, and the salad itself was so basic. For the price, they could of spiced it up past the whole grape tomatoes and cucumbers… The fish was also overcooked and bland. The only good part was the cornbread croutons – those were great. The service is really really bad. You know when a place isn’t busy, and your waiter asks you fifty times if you need anything? Super annoying. And it seems like none of the wait staff has actually ever worked in the food service industry. For the high prices, this place should come with staff that has fine-dining experience. Wouldn’t recommend this place, and we likely won’t be going back.

The first time I went here I ordered the crawfish etouffee since I fell in love with the dish as a child when I would visit family in Baton Rouge. This is the first time I’ve come across this menu item since then and was nearly in tears since it tasted just as I remembered from my childhood. I have been here several times since and it continues to be just as exceptional. The cornbread is also fantastic as well as the oysters. Highly recommend this place to any southern food lovers.

I was visiting my daughter and shopping when we noticed this cute cozy place, a “drag show” on sundays? We were the first customers the next day. The eggs Benedict out of this world with salmon! All four of us had the best time out of our five day stay! We even stayed home Saturday night to be sure we were rested. And had to take a nap after from laughing for two hours!! Our waiter was great, food and endless bloody Mary’s, mimosa,s could not have made a better atmosphere. Can’t wait to visit again.. TheDRAGSHOW was just superb!!! Sharon H. (Youngstown. Ohio)

It makes me really sad to have to write this review. If you actually enjoy authentic Cajun food, much less are born and raised in Louisiana, then don’t come here. I’ve been completely ecstatic to try this place ever since they opened, but they were out of boudin balls (my favorite) until about a week ago. I went in and got an order of them, as well as a shrimp poboy and my boyfriend got a sausage poboy. The $8 order of boudin balls includes THREE. I literally asked if there had been a mistake. Nope. And that’s not all. My poboy was tiny, no more than 6 inches but my boyfriend’s was closer to 8. There were about 8 shrimp on my whole sandwich, and one of them still had part of the shell attached. Have these people ever even been to the French Quarter? Because this place is a disgrace to the name. I had to season all my food with massive amounts of Cajun seasoning because it was all terribly bland. I am so disappointed.

My hubby and I went out for a date night and decided to stop for dessert here. Cute outdoor seating area but the food was not very good. We ordered the bread pudding and beignets. After about 30 mins, the waiter informed that they wouldn’t able to make the bread pudding. No big deal but it took FOREVER to find that out. On top of that, the beignets were sooo dry! I would definitely not order them again, nor will we be back anytime soon.
