Delicious pastries! My husband is a ham and cheese croissant connoisseur and he says this was one of the best he’s had. And I agree it was so delicious! We also appreciated the outdoor seating with coverage because it happened to rain when we came.

Pastries and cakes are delicious. The dark chocolates looked aged and tasted gross.
Adorable location.
Quaint outdoor and indoor seating with a small park next door.
Coffee and tea. Breakfast and treats.

Terrific premade items on display but DO NOT EVER preorder anything special made for a holiday or event.
They don’t care about handing you a boxed disaster without warning and with no email contact or phone voicemail (they don’t answer) to fix the issue.
I ordered a $30 french fruit tart for Thanksgiving and it’s not even suitable to be seen nevermind tasted. Photos are what the item was supposed to look like and the other is what I received.

Pretty great neighborhood spot, run by a French family. Frequented by all the locals. Great way to get a feel of the pulse of cohasset. Some of the best stuff croissants I’ve ever had. One day I’ll get around to trying their bread products!

I usually get the almond croissants here, and simply put, it is decadent. Writing this review from NYC where I’ve visited two French bakeries on the UES today and FM comes out tops. Superb.

My partner and I come to French Memories almost every weekend. We have tried so many different pastries and have had so much fun getting to pick them out and box them up. My personal favorites from this bakery are the almond croissants, strawberry croissant with custard, chocolate eclairs (they also have vanilla and coffee), and a puff pastry with hazelnut filling (not sure what it’s called). It’s always extremely busy, but the staff handle it amazingly. The food is very well priced, fresh every time that we get it, and perfectly baked. Please go here if you want authentic French pastries!

Pastries were very good but the inside was not so nice. Service was slow to checkout, the AC wasn’t working and there was no bathroom.

Everything in the bakery cases looked so delicious I could hardly choose. I wanted to try one of everything! On top of the incredible selection of pastries, cookies, breads, cakes, and other goodies, the service was second to none. Cashiers were friendly and eager to talk to customers. And let me tell you, this place had plenty of customers when I was here but the wait was nonexistant. It didn’t take long at all to get my order situated despite the afternoon rush at hand. It’s easy to see why this bakery is so popular with the locals: there’s nothing not to love. So, in conclusion, if you are looking for something closer to a European style cafe with a laid-back and friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go. If I lived within walking distance, I’d be here all the time, but sadly it will have to remain a once-in-a-while treat for me. If you live close by, don’t hesitate to take advantage of that and try it out. You will definitely thank me (and yourself!)

Absolute best chicken caesar salad I’ve ever had. Everything was great, but the chicken and the homemade croutons were incredible.
