Lovely slice of Paris in MA! Amazing assortment of pastries, sandwiches and delicacies. Cozy atmosphere with very friendly staff helping make selections and get food ready. Definitely a line but it moves quickly. Espresso was a nice balance of nutty and bitter.

Everything that we had was great! The panini was perfect, filling and tasty! Breakfast sandwiches, muffins, quiche, cannolis and chocolate almond croissant- all of them were delicious. Great spot to get food to go or sit and eat. Loved the French music that was playing too.

A great bakery with a wide variety of tasty treats! They have sandwiches and drinks as well as the pastries in the case. Many of the pastries were on the smaller side, like the cannoli and sticky buns, but then you can get a bunch and taste them all. Prices were fair and the staff were friendly. They have a few tables inside and we were able to sit and relax for a while even though it was busy.

I recently stopped by French Memories in Duxbury to grab a gift and was instantly impressed by the sheer variety and quality of their offerings. The pastry case is absolutely stunning, filled with beautiful tarts, cakes, quiches, and cookies.

I picked up a handful of their macarons for a gift, and they were perfectly colorful and looked exquisite. Beyond the macarons, I was really taken by all the tempting sweet and savory options displayed.

If you are looking for a high-quality, authentic French bakery experience with delicious treats and beautiful presentation, this is the place to go. I will definitely be back to explore more of their selection.

Mixed feelings about this bakery. Cute bakery and friendly service. Had high expectation from reviews for true French pastry but croissants were little disappointing, buttery but dense and not flaky. Service was rather slow. About 3 to 4 tables inside. No restroom available.

After visiting Island Creek Oysters, I grabbed a quick dessert at a nearby spot: French Memories. I was a bit hesitant since I’m not familiar with the area, but it did not disappoint. All the pastries we ordered were great! I would definitely recommend it to others!

A Perfect Morning Stop in Charming Duxbury

We found French Memories on a quiet, crisp morning while driving around Duxbury, reminiscing about my husband’s childhood. He grew up on Driftwood Road, and as we passed by his old home—a super cute Cape Cod-style house his father bought in the late ‘60s for just $35,000 (now worth a staggering $1.1 million!), I could almost picture the memories he described. We saw the ponds where he skated, the bridge he once jumped off, and even the golf course where he spent so much time.

But the highlight of the morning? Stumbling upon French Memories.

We had just dropped off our six-month-old puppy at Angell Memorial Hospital in Chestnut Hill for surgery, leaving us with several hours to pass before we’d know if we’d be picking him up that night or the next day. We needed a warm, inviting place to relax—and French Memories was exactly that.

Walking in, I ordered a double espresso latte, and my husband got the same. We couldn’t resist the fresh cinnamon rolls from their beautiful pastry display, and I’m so glad we didn’t—they were absolutely divine. Soft, warm, and delicately sweet, they practically melted in our mouths.

We grabbed seats at a cozy high-top table near the window and sipped our coffee while watching the morning routine of the locals—a mix of friendly faces, relaxed conversations, and a clear sense of community. This isn’t your typical coffee chain experience—if you’re looking for something beyond Dunkin’ Donuts, with a touch of European charm, this is the spot.

Stepping outside after breakfast, we took in the picturesque surroundings. Just beyond the bakery, there’s a lovely view of the marina and the water, making it a perfect place to take a stroll. The combination of excellent coffee, delicious pastries, and a charming coastal setting made this an unforgettable morning stop.

If you’re ever in Duxbury, French Memories is a must-visit. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this bakery offers a warm atmosphere, amazing food, and a glimpse into the town’s charm. We’ll definitely be back!We were driving around looking for

Cute bakery with so many treats to choose from. Definitely recommend stopping by here for a sandwich and a nice dessert. I will definitely be back. There is a credit card limit, but there is plenty to spend your money on. It is only a $7.50 limit.

The absolute best bakery I’ve ever visited.
There was a line out the door when I arrived, and I typically NEVER wait in lines. French Memories was really the only breakfast place around so my husband and I decided to wait it out. WOW, I couldn’t believe that my coffee, our breakfast sandwiches, our mini apple pie and our chocolatine were all STELLAR. It was so good that we went out of our way to go AGAIN the day after and waited in another 30 minute line, however it was completely worth it!!! Again, I never ever wait in lines out the door, this is the only place I’ve ever gone that I would wait every time. Thank you all, so incredible.
