This was our first time visiting French Market Grille, and we had an amazing time. It was actually a stroke of luck that we decided to come here, but because so many restaurants are closed by 6pm on Sunday in this area we were very happy that we discovered this place!

Went here for my grandmother’s birthday. The atmosphere was good and the service was good. The food was OK, and it felt like it was not seasoned enough. The appetizer that was good was the crab soup, If it as in there again I would get a bigger bowl of this next time.

Had the catfish po boy sandwich with chips. This is a great sandwich and it’s pretty big size if you hungry.

First time here. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed raw oysters and some very well crafted Maine scallops. I was impressed!

I was really pleasantly surprised by this place. We had the shrimp pasta special and a 5 oz filet and both were phenomenal. The food is seasoned extremely well and the bread and salads were a nice starter. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy and they have a really lovely screened in outdoor dining area. The portions are good given the price and I would definitely come back. I do wish their menu had gator bites as their online menu suggested but you can’t win them all.

I had a hurricane drink & the gumbo bowl. Everything was great ! I read the bad reviews & was skeptical but this restaurant did not disappoint me at all ! Julia was my server and she had such a welcoming attitude . I met Ben I think he is the manager I’m not sure . But he made me feel welcome as well he stopped by my table & held a conversation with me & my home girl . I met Dez & kitchen staff members Travis & MJ they were all so nice & kept a smile on their faces . I’ve told all my close friends that this is definitely a hidden gem & that they should try it ! I will be returning again on my next off day . The vibe is on point . I definitely recommend this establishment to everyone . When I left I said I have to leave them a review .

Not a bad place the appetizer was delicious. The main course was a lil bland. I had the beef tenderloin and shrimp with potatoes. The steak had no real flavor the shrimp was not bad and something was just missing from the potatoes. For the price and name I thought it would have been more flavor to the food.

The food was average, but our server, Desmond, was really the highlight of the experience and the reason I’d return. He was attentive and went out of his way to make sure everyone in our party of 8 was satisfied with their food. The food was good but not the best Cajun food I’ve had by far. The shrimp on my po’ boy were well seasoned. The she crab soup was my favorite part of the meal, and it was amazing.

I went to this restaurant with my family for lunch. There was a younger guy there who is the owners son ( what we was told). We arrived with a party of 12 people, and not all at once. Our waitress took forever to bring us drinks. I was going to go to the Circle K for a drink at one point. The younger guy comes over to the table, and tell us we had to leave by 5 minutes b/c there was a party of 15 coming in. I thought there was a hidden camera som, and he was joking.

THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED. I ordered The Crawfish Etoufee & Crawfish Popcorn to go— totaling around $45 +tip and completely blown at the proportions of food, on top of the prices not matching the pictures of the menu online or the google menu prices. I wouldn’t have complained about paying more than I anticipated had the portions been bigger, and the food tasted better. It contains some seasoning but could really use salt. There is nothing to bring the flavor out. I compare this to my other seafood restaurant experiences that are influenced by New Orleans, and this is far by the WORST. To emphasize how strongly I feel about this, it’s the first google review I’ve ever left for a restaurant. I was completely astonished to go home, and realize what I had just paid for. The cherry on top, the salad that was supposed to be included with my meal wasn’t in the bag.
