As the ambience looked good, we decided to have dinner at French House Restaurant on 02nd March around 7:30 pm. We ordered steak, combo2(on the menu) and Mi Quang. The steak was to be medium, however it turned to be unevenly cooked. One side was very chewy and the remaining part was as it was supposed to be.
The Combo 2 contained pork which was very hard, chewy and tasteless. Looked like the pork was not fresh.
Service was very slow. We had to request more than once for anything. The restaurant did not have more than 15-20 guests at any point of time during our stay. Also for this kind of service and food, we were charged 8% service charge!! Not worth it…

Went here on November 9 2025 and we just stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant, outside it was really pretty and appealing. We were so hungry so unfortunately we weren’t able to take a pic of what we ordered but we did get their Braised Pork and Pork in claypot/hotpot, as well as their fish in hotpot, along with their spring rolls and IT WAS SO GOOD. Our favorite is the fried spring rolls, it was delicious, perfect, and unique. Their staff are also amazing, they’re very accommodating and kind to their guests, they went above and beyond to be able to give us a good service and even gave us free watermelon platter.
We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Hoi An.

We had such a beautiful experience here and felt genuinely looked after. My daughter was unwell during our visit, and the staff went above and beyond with kindness — bringing her fresh watermelon, helping us access the bathroom quickly, and checking in on her with such care and warmth.
The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, but what really stood out was the humanity of the team. When you’re travelling with a child who isn’t feeling well, that level of compassion means everything.

Giang was our server, she was very informative about the residence and food. All staff were extremely polite and even changed my husband’s wine because a fly went in it!!!
The food was delicious you won’t get better spring rolls anywhere else. We ordered the sweet and sour pork, seafood rice, chicken noodles and of course spring rolls. Would highly recommend. Great for anyone… Come and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

We happened to come across French house by chance, as we were on our way to Mr Viet for coffee and chocolate. The lovely gentleman who was at the front was welcoming and showed us the extensive menu. The service was exceptional. They were very attentive. Wonton soup and combo 1 & 2 dishes were full of flavour…drink are all lovely and refreshing. Try the fruit juices for a lovely refresh.
