The Mushroom Risotto was delicious with the rice itself being very flavorful; there were so much mushrooms and onions which made the whole dish great!
The tenderloin was very soft and had a good flavor on the crust. Ask for salt so it becomes even better. I wasn’t a fan of the butter though that came with the tenderloin. The salad was also good with a vinegrette sauce. The fries were good although they were a bit hard.
Note: There are a lot of mosquitos here. But even so the food was good so I’m willing to go back again in pants and a jacket.
On both occasions, the food was excellent. The menu is small but quite diverse, offering classic pasta dishes as well as some of the best Filipino options. A nice extra touch is the complimentary water.
During one of the dinners, the place got quite busy, and the owner stepped in to help with the service, which really says a lot about the place. The kitchen also looked very clean and well organized.
Highly recommended

The food is plated exquisitely, tastes flavorful and balanced, the portion is plenty. I tried the gaspacho, tuna tartare, egg Mimosa and seafood risotto. All of them were fantastic.
These quality dishes could easily cost 20-30 euros in Europe per dish. And even compare to many restaurants on Alona, this is of much better value!
This is also a place to have a chilled glass of good white wine, which isn’t easy to come by in Bohol.
Taste-wise both dishes we ordered were very delicious:
– the mushroom risotto was really flavorful and i couldn’t get enough of it! They didnt scrimp on the ingredients at all. There was so much mushrooms, carrots and onions, which made the dish really tasty.
– the beef tenderloin was also good, just add a bit more salt for more flavor and it was perfect!
Was only able to take a pic when we were about to finish the food haha
Would come back here for sure and recommend it to other people. Though others would say that they have limited menu items, i think they make up for it for the taste.
Really wanted to try the tuna tartare and the kinilaw as it had lots of good reviews but i can’t at the time so i will hopefully get to try it next time!
The seafood risotto was savory, and fresh ingredient. Especially, Beef Tagliata was really good. Beef was medium well-done, which exactly reflected my opinion. A man who looks like a owner, was really friendly and wiling to accept my dog . Perfect experience in French Bubbles. I’m willing to visit again this resto.
