We arrived just as they were opening the doors. Since it is such a small place we wanted to make sure we were able to get a table. This also allowed us to speak to the staff to recommend what type of fish we should have. It was easy he said to pick 4 and he would prepare a combo. With his suggestions we chose, shrimp, squid, cod and the Adobe (a fish in vinegar and cumin). Everything is by weight but don’t worry. It’s cheap. We even went back to get more squid, another 1/2 kg.
Your name is called and you go get your order that is wrapped in paper on a tray.
Only 1 brand of beer is served with different size bottles. We took the giant one to share. Plastic cups were provided.
When the food arrived everything was cooked to perfection. Nothing was dried out.
We asked for lemon to put on our fish and forks and knives to eat with. But because everything is in bite size pieces it’s easier to just eat with your hands.
Our entire meal was 28€.
Would I go back? Definitely.
Don’t be confused by the first sight – it is a local canteen with sitting in the back. You can buy all kind of fried seafood on weight and it is really for good price. Everything fresh and super tasty. I recommend the Frito variad (mix of your choice).
Portion for two people with beers for 18€
Definitely recommended!
