Y’all the food was nasty. The sides went straight in my trash. I’m echoing the other reviewer’s comment, because the mac n cheese and greens tasted spoiled. Not sure if there’s been a change in management, or what, but they’re not serving quality food here. Making folks sick is unacceptable. They need to go ahead and shut down immediately.

The food taste like something you eat on a dare challenge. The oxtails had about 5mg of salt. The macaroni cheese tasted like somebody’s 3 year old fixed it. The broccoli and cheese should’ve been taken away by someone in a hazmat suit. The greens is the only reason I am giving it a star. The price and the food are worlds apart. They need to close this place down and turn it into a boot repair shop or something. Anything other than a soul food restaurant.

Where can I begin? Let’s start up by checking out. The menu prices were a little more higher than I expected especially for the food that I received. The food I give at one respectfully I have been eating these texts for over 20 years and these tested Square watery and looked like they needed to be Cooked for another couple of hours the mashed potatoes was too soggy. The corn was too sweet the I’ll give it a three I had to get them to put it in the microwave twice and after I took a bite I didn’t even finish my third link out of the six I ordered. Respectfully if I could have asked for my money back, I would have. I’m not saying I don’t recommend this place, but I wasn’t satisfied with my meal. For the cost that they’re charging I wasn’t pleased at all. Definitely needs an in person feedback versus just a review. I think they need to reevaluate their food the temperature of the food Honestly, I should’ve stuck to McDonald’s. I am not satisfied at all. And it sucks because I spent $22 on a mail that I didn’t enjoy.

No. Go next door to the crazy bros. Baked chicken, nothing but black pepper on it. Yams straight out the can. Broccoli cheese casserole is made with can nacho cheese. Not even casserole. Greens is only winning because collards have there own distinct flavor. ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ ♀️

Come get your freshly cleaned chitterlings…they sell them frozen and cleaned or hot off the steam table . They are a bit expensive but if you buy them from the grocery store and clean them yourself you end up with the same amount why I come here and buy them to save myself four hours at the sink, well worth it!

Went for lunch with my brother on a whim and I’m so glad we stumbled into this Black-owned spot. there was only one person working and I will assume it’s his place and everything he had on the hot bar looked delicious.
I opted for the soul food plate which came with a meat and three sides (I doubled up Mac and cheese though). I got meatloaf and green beans along with the mac & cheese. It also came with a nice-sized piece of cornbread which was just the right amount of cakey-ness that I like. overall the meal was very good and I just add a little pepper to the veggies and pasta it was good to go.
My brother opted for the hot link combo which came with hot links and a side. they were also really good as he shared one with me. He had a choice of two bbq sauces and he opted for the more mild versus spicy option, which he said was just perfect for him.
