Tried it today for my first time. I ordered the chicken fajita burrito to go. Burrito taste like cilantro lime rice and black beans. Unbelievable. They hardly but any chicken in it . What a joke . If you want more meat it’s $3 extra.

Freebirds is consistently good for us. We go here as a fallback option when we can’t make up our dang minds about where the heck to go for some cheap food. Their menu has changed slightly over the years, but I always just get the Freebirds chicken burrito with Spanish rice, grilled veggies, pinto beans, lettuce, pico, corn, and some sort of salsa. My wife always orders tortilla bowl with queso and chips. They have pretty good queso but even their large (pictured) is not very big. They also don’t give a lot of chips, so it just goes down quickly for the price. That’s why I tend to stick with the burritos which are always packed with food if you instruct the employees to do so. Oh, and I always load up their death sauce on every bite. It’s actually not that hot but has some good flavors. Okay, mouth is watering right now just thinking about it…. LOL. Workers are generally nice, but not always. I’m sure we’ll be back soon.

I have a severe gluten allergy. I came in during lunch rush knowing there may be nothing safe. I talked to the nice guy up front and when I said I had a severe allergy he washed his hands and and changed gloves. He also grabbed a sheet that had all of the allergens in all the food and walked down the line with me and double checked everything. He was so nice and it really made me feel safe eating here. I’ll be back again for sure. 10/10 food and service.

Good food and friendly staff. Prices keep going up (but that’s like everything lately). The steak is usually tender and I love the tomatillo sauce! By the time I add queso and guac and add a little tip, it’s over $15. Maybe it’s just me but I think I get more bang for my buck getting the burrito bowl. I’m more likely to heat up leftovers too. A few less carbs. The music wasn’t overly loud today. The late lunch crowd is more manageable for lunch especially when a lot of Aggies are gone for summer.

Brendan was very helpful, poliete and professional when making my burrito. Some staff at other restraunt seem to give off the vibe like they dont wanna be at work servicing food. This was not the case with Brendan. He was very knowlegable on the ingredence . My burritto was Perfect in taeste and the customer service was the Best. I will definitely be coming back back the next time Im craving fast food for my family & thankyou again Brendan !!!
