First time trying Freebirds. I was looking forward to this place. Heard it was the Texas version of Chipotle. Very disappointed. Staff did not want to be there. The rice was overcooked and mushy. The steak was bland. Overall, this was like going to a neighbors house for a quick last minute dinner get-together. Not horrible but not worth spending over $40 for 3 burritos and a large fountain drink.

This was a good place for some quick food. We got the larger bowls which still didn’t seem large enough for the money we paid. I ordered some chips and queso and they gave us a small amount of chips. Certainly not enough for the cost. The forks they give are the smallest and cheapest plasticware. They were not strong enough to eat the food we purchased. It was good enough for some quick food but we won’t be back on a regular basis. They did have plant based chorizo which was good. Thank you, Freebirds.

The customer service here absolutely sucks. And that’s being nice. This is now the second time going and getting such terrible service. I order online to have it ready at a certain time. Walked in and went to the pick up side. Was never greeted. There was a lady waiting as well so I just waited. The staff looked at me MULTIPLE times and never asked if I needed anything. A DoorDash driver came in. They helped him no problem. Again still standing there. The lady who was there before me got her food. I’m still standing there with no help. Finally after 10 mins the guy finally asked if I needed something. Honestly what the hell. I will NEVER go back.

There was been a serious decline in variety, taste and service over the past few years. There are no more plant based options beyond guacamole and veggies (kid working there didn’t even know what plant-based means). My burrito was so sloppily assembled that it fell apart. The tables and chairs were dirty and I had to clean them off myself. My family used to go here at least once a month – will probably never go again now. It was $47 for 3 people for very average tasting food in a dirty restaurant.

I used to really like this location, but the quality of the food and the service have both gone downhill drastically. Despite multiple employees working, typically only one (if any) is helping in store customers. Online orders always seem to come first. Many of the items are either out, very low or look like they have been sitting there for hours. Not sure I can stomach going back.

Update: owner replies back And assure that they will take care of it. I went couple of times after and service was good. But today, when I visited, I saw completely new sr of people. Again gave me monster bowl with size of regular bowl. I always take my sauces by side for to go. For sour cream they only filled half small to go source up and I said at ease fill properly, they talked to me so rudely and said buy more if you want more. Also I do not prefer much rice so I told her don’t put much rice she said, it default comes with 3 scoop. I do not want 3 scoop and you do not decide that if someone want less roce.. my bowl was made forcefully and worst than previous one. Also other two employees were there And acted like they don’t care which made me feel so bad. I am sure is my last visit, I would never visit free bird, at least not this location, I was never felt so bad and humiliated by any food place

This used to be my fav place. I like food. But recent experience was nightmare. As usual I ordered monster chicken bowl. Person making my bowl looks new, looks like he does not know the difference between different bowl. Monster does not mean to put more rice and beans but every things ha to be proportional. He put everything in qty like regular bowl. So When I asked him to put more veggies he added 2 bell pepper. I had to Ask him again to put more again 2 more onion/bell pepper. Except rice beans he put everything like regular. Bowl taste so worst. So I paid money of monster bowl , received qty of regular bowl and which taste terrible.

If you ever want to feel like you aren’t welcomed and want to wait in line for 20 minutes with Jo other customers in the store, then please go to this location. My wife and I went and were the only customers. 4 people working, then they had to argue with each other to finally decide who was going to take our orders. The food looked like it had been u covered for 12 hours and they are always out of something. For two small bowls and 3 ounces of “large” chip order, the total was almost $33 dollars. I won’t go back, and we used go all the time, but not anymore,

This Stacy Rd, Allen TX Freebirds location has fallen to a low level in terms of service and food preparation. As another reviewer noted, the staff often seem uninterested in being there. Understandable. However, on separate visits it was noticed that the quantity of food ingredients used to prepare the meal items had decreased. One particular visit 3 requested ingredients were noticed as missing when I made it home to eat my takeout order. I did not call the store and complain. After receiving the corporate feedback email, I was very honest in my assessment of the recent visit. As if it was some type of huge favor to me, corporate sent me a half-hearted apology with a $5 discount on a future purchase. I don’t do business like that. Sorry. Good luck with your future Freebirds.

Tonight’s visit reminded me why I have and will continue to choose Chipotle over Freebirds. You should not be scraping the edges of containers for leftover remnants to avoid going to the back and grabbing a new container, which was conveniently readily available after another customer refused the crispy leftover rice. You should not run out of chicken with over an hour until closing. The two gentleman working the counter need serious training on customer service. I try this place maybe once every 18 months and am reminded each time why I am in no rush to come back. If you’re debating between Freebirds and literally anywhere else, choose elsewhere.
