The staff is super chill, super straight forward and quick with the order. The family orders take a bit of time to get out but it aint too bad of a wait. Fries were pretty good, crispy and tasty. Fish was good too, not too fishy which fits my personal taste. Overall pretty solid experience

Went through drive through, guy always has an attitude and rushes you then forgets my drink, I asked for two then and takes FOREVER to get those 2 DRINKS and the drinks cost 2 something for this tiny cup AND I said no lemon and they still put it. If youre gonna be a front at least do it right. Never going back.

Finally made it to Fred’s after living 2+ years near one .
We went through the drive thru. The staff could have been a bit more friendly (from taking the order to giving it at the window) but I’ll give them a pass since it was on a Friday during lent (Catholics don’t eat meat) and it was packed. Most places welcome you in a cheerful voice and when you receive your food, they smile and thank you again.
I had the fish and fried oysters. The fish was okay. It wasn’t terrible but nothing spectacular either. The “planks” were uniformly square which lead me to believe they are pre-made/frozen. The batter was decent and the fish was tender and flaky.
The oysters were great. They were pretty big. The batter was good and the oysters were tender and tasty. I’ll definitely stick to these when I return. You can’t get fried oysters quickly anywhere else that I know of.
Overall, the experience was average as well as the food. If you’re in the mood for fast food and wish to order fish or oysters, this is a great alternative to most other fast-food seafood.

We went through drive thru Monday 12/15 . I had been craving this fish very disappointed. The fries were old and cold. The pieces of fish looked like it was refried. Out of the whole meal, ghe shrimp was the best. Shrimp was nicely fried and still warm by time I got hm. I dont think we will be doing Fred’s fish for awhile.

Definitely will be back! Customer service was excellent, and I’m glad to see that there are men with good manners, with a great attitude! I also purchased the 3 piece fish box and was very impressed with the quality of the product and price. Everything was fresh, and the portions were great, I even received lemon for my fish, which I was amazed at and the price was great as well! I can say that this establishment will be my go-to place for a family-friendly outing. Blessings to all the employees who work hard to provide a great meal deal for their customers!

This is my second time this place try’s to over charge me same place! I learned to always check my receipt for charges, dude was trying to overcharge me by $10. To top it off dude was not wearing hairnets long hair n beard and no gloves while cooking handling register! I got refunded but since he had already made food I was nice enough to pay for it but never again! check your receipts people!

Got the chicken tenders. The service was great and the food was spot on. For the price you can’t go wrong. You can save a ton of cash and eat pretty decent. Will be back in the future to try the fish. This is one of the only places I’ve seen that has a chicken sandwich for only a buck and some change. Can’t beat that.

Came in around 3 pm and the place was empty. Place looked clean and i think jus one worker and they did a phenomenal job took my order and went to the back and made my order while answering the drive thru. Two orders of fish with fries was good nice and hot. Really presentable and everything looked good. Highly recommend for a good price chicken sandwich also on point.
