Ironically, the plan was to go to Texas Roadhouse, but when we arrived, the wait was 50min, so we decided to look for a BETTER option. When we saw this restaurant so highly rated on Google, we said, “Let’s give it a try.” The truth is, it was our first time in Saint Joseph, and we were with my in-laws who live here, so we went to eat there, and it was spectacular. A pleasant, family atmosphere, delicious food, spectacular service, everything was excellent. Thank you very much! We had one of the most satisfying dinners of this trip!

Came here to eat on Halloween night with my boyfriend, which was our first time here. The wait staff and host were dressed up as a crazy cat lady and her cats, which was very cute. My partner and I ordered a steak and coconut shrimp with soup/salad bar. The food was excellent and our waitress was very accommodating. The salad bar was really good as well. We were surprised to see it only cost $45 for the two of us. Considering we each got an entree, soup, salad, a side, rolls, and cinnamon rolls, it was a great price! $20 a piece for a quality meal that left us happy and full. We will be returning! Thanks for the great service and great food! ❤️

This is the first poor rating I have ever given to a restaurant.
We ordered the 16 oz prime rib and the 6 oz filet mignon (medium). The filet arrived only cooked to rare; with a very raw center. The prime rib was served on the bone with an above normal amount of fat. In my 35 years of fine dining, I have never seen prime rib served on the bone. I ate half of the total weight.
When we sent the filet back to cook longer, it then became dry.
The saving moment of the evening was their soup n salad bar. The potato soup was very good.
We read an article that recommended this establishment, so we drove 90 miles (one-way) to visit them. Very disappointed.
Maybe they will get better; but I will not recommend them nor will I return.

Prime rib was perfect and “divine.” The Kansas City strip was the “the best steak I’ve had in a long time” per my dining partner. Twice baked potato was just okay. Spinach salad was good (except fake bacon bits). But tasty and fresh. All in all, the meat was so wonderful that it is 5-star for me, based on that. I would love to come back…

Stopped in for lunch; very good food (but no cinnamon rolls served as advertised and the gravy was instant) but the service was a huge disappointment in terms of attentiveness and promptness. We were there at 12:30 pm. There were four other tables besides ours and it took an hour and a half to get served. No offer to refill our glasses until we were ready for the check. No return to the table to check on how the steak was cooked! The restaurant was clean. Not recommended for lunch.

A little of the beaten path (we are out of Townes just passing through) but worth it! Grilled cheese for the kid, ribeye for the hubby and salmon for me – all great! Meal served with hot rolls and hot cinnamon rolls. Two soups, made fresh daily available. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a nice dinner place. It’s an old quaint building and so are some of the fixtures. Wait staff extremely busy, but friendly. Seemed to take a few minutes longer than normal for us, however it was good. Prices reasonable, and food tasted good.

The steaks were amazing! It was busy, but still very good service. We did make a reservation and it is helpful to do on a Friday night or Saturday night. The salad bar is fine. But the steaks were just incredible!
