I had Their Alfredo which was pretty good but my brother and mom both ordered either the chicken Modiga or chicken Marsala. My mom finished hers and my brother took his as takeout. long story short here’s my brother’s takeout. this was Saturday night.

We were there for lunch. The food was not only amazing but the portions were big and the prices were really reasonable! The service was great! Our waitress, Sarah, did an excellent job. I would highly recommend it!

Our food was good, but we where charged $7 for using our credit card and this was after it was signed. I don’t believe this is really legal. The $7 should of been added on the bill before we signed it. The owner or who ever he is stood at the bar the whole time watching every move his staff made. He kept telling my husband to go back and look how clean the kitchen is three times. Very strange deal all around….we certainly will not go back.

Frederico’s is a great Italian restaurant! The food has always been outstanding, and the service is great (though as most people they are still short staffed, but they manage this well). It may take a little longer to get your food, but rest assured it is going to be worth the wait, as well as getting the opportunity to spend more quality time with the people you went to dinner with. I highly recommend the Chicken Marsala (pictured is the pork-chop al a marsala). The house salad is good, and the meatballs are fantastic!

We waited a long time to even be seated they put us at the bar didn’t even offer us bread while we waited so when we got seated they brought the bread out and didn’t have plates all the tables around us had plates with the bread so my grandma asked for plates but the waitress only cared if we was ready to order and took the order my grandma was upset about the plates so then the food comes out after it was well over 30 minutes I got chicken Alfredo with broccoli no mushrooms and all of it was cold as soon as they came out with it. My grandma ordered hers with mushrooms and no chicken she got chicken well they took it back and when she came back she didn’t have mushrooms . It was a horrible experience and we never been there before definitely will never go back. My food cost over $16 plus the chicken and the broccoli I didnt eat it and wanted to take it home cause of how cold it was so the waitress was like do u want dessert hell no I don’t want dessert and I couldn’t even eat my food cause it was cold. The manger I guess he was said he could take off 5% I said no thanks. The bill was $115 and some change and when she came back it was $111 and some change. Smh that’s a shame

This place has some of the best Italian food we’ve had in a while. Moderately priced and the service provided by Brooke was great. We had fish, pasta, pizza, chicken and steak. We all were quite pleased.

We ordered tonight and when we got home from picking up the order we noticed one of our meals was missing, the portion sizes are kids sizes, and both salads were missing most of the ingredients stated on the menu online. The baked ziti had no sauce and was basically just cheese and meat. When calling to express our disappointment they knew exactly which meal we were missing before we said which one and she didn’t know how to refund our credit card so we had to go so they could refund it in cash.

Great experience here. Food was amazing and worth every penny we spent. Had the spaghetti & meatballs, reminded me of Sicilian grandma’s spaghetti. Definitely going back to try the Lasagna.

I’ve been coming to Fredrico’s in Waterloo for years, and historically the service has always been very good. Unfortunately, recent visits have changed my perspective.
During my last visit, I overheard employees making comments such as, “that would have been taken out of my check,” when a carafe was almost dropped. Comments like that strongly suggest a workplace culture driven by fear rather than support, which helps explain the constant staff turnover. It gives the impression that Freddy runs the place with an iron hammer.
On top of that, the food quality has steadily declined and has become less palatable with each visit.
Between the noticeable drop in food quality and concerns about how employees appear to be treated, I feel this restaurant has run its course. Supporting a business owner who treats staff in this manner is not something I want to be a part of, and I will not be returning.
