Fredericks is a warm and welcoming eatery that draws inspiration from San Francisco’s historic past and its open-hearted culture through the lively nature of the city and the unifying power of good food. Fredericks offers standout coffee service, gourmet pastries, sweet and savory options for breakfast, lunch, and beyond. The cappuccino was practically all steamed milk, could not taste the espresso. The avocados were barely ripe and tough to chew. The sourdough toast was the only good part of the meal.
They advertise fresh squeezed juiced, that’s a lie. We saw the employees pouring from prepackaged cartons found at local grocery stores. They don’t even have a proper espresso machine, it’s those digitized premade machines found at hotel lobbies or high end dealerships.
As we were leaving, we overheard the server stop one of the customers from refilling her water bottle from the complementary water pitcher they had set out. The server said the complementary water is only for the restaurant and if they wanted bottle water they should purchase it at the counter.
Overall it was unreasonably priced for the quality and a complete waste of time.
Even what you get for the price; super expensive, flat white looks to be the cheapest in town.
Organize juice is not fresh and they charge 10$
The ambiance is charming and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.
The menu offers a diverse selection of delicious breakfast options that are freshly prepared and of high quality.
I highly recommend Fredericks if you’re looking to enjoy a tasty breakfast in San Francisco! Warm regards Doreen
