After reading reviews I was excited to order takeout from here. Only to receive scraps filled with gravy and carrots. I mean it should have been called oxtail gravy and rice because there was hardly ANY oxtails. Especially, for this to be a large. My dinner ruined. I would have sent this back if I was sitting in the restaurant. I really want a refund. The person who fixed this plate should be ashamed of themselves. I frequent this place! It has DELICIOUS, authentic Jamaican food. Ive had the curry chicken, curry goat, brown stew chicken, and oxtail. It comes with a side and cabbage and plantain, if they have it. I wish they had plantain all the time, but the food is delicious either way.
Also, I’d like to note that the customer service in here is amazing. Miss Simone and the other lady are very kind and it is a pleasure to patronize this black-owned business.

This USED to be my favorite spot years ago. But I guess they sold it or passed it down to a family member and there’s a particular woman who always has a face and an attitude! When I asked her for extra rice for some reason she went to the back to “get more rice (although there was fresh rice on the food line) proceeded to serve me bits and pieces falling off from the curry chicken, and kept taking OFF my plate! Then when I tasted the food OMG it tasted like the rice was fermented and old!! She definitely did this on purpose because there was fresh rice out! I’ve been a loyal customer for years and I am NEVER EVER going back to this place!! My stomach hurts everytime I think about it!! DO BETTER whoever got her should definitely be watching what she does through a camera! I am beyond disappointed and disgusted!!

The food here is amazing, a lot of flavor no matter what you get it’s always good.. the place is very clean at all times.. it’s the first Jamaican restaurant bathroom I ever use and it’s clean and smell great… I would recommend anyone here..
