I had the grilled cheese burger and my son had an original double. Smash burger style. Imo could’ve been more caramelization to patties. Fries were hot and fresh and well seasoned but thought they were too thin. Not enough fluff inside reminds me of in n out fries but better crispiness. The frozen custard was delicious! Very smooth and creamy and good flavor without being overly sweet. Overall I’d give it a 7/10.

Finally a place in LA to get cheese curds! The burger and tots are good too! The fries are nice and thin too! The dining area is nice and clean. They were good about cleaning off tables as customers left, which is a nice touch. I need to go back to try a custard!

Got the patty, melt the grilled cheeseburger, the dirt worm sundae, Heath bar, concrete, tater tots and onion rings and original double burger. Everything was made fresh it was hot. The tater tots were crispy with a little hint of onion absolutely delicious best patty melt full of onions and delicious cheese didn’t even need ketchup. The burgers are cooked to perfection and piping hot when you get them. The concrete was good but could use more Heath bar chokes we didn’t spend that much time in line. The line moved pretty long. Download the app for special deals in pricing. The prices are good and the portions are pretty big but download the app. You get much better pricing and deals.

We stopped by for lunch, I was curious to try their famous frozen custard and burgers. I ended up getting Freddys Double Bacon burger.the shoe string fries were great. The burger was a bit average and left me underwhelmed. The patties lacked that juicy flavorful punch and those crispy burnt edges that you’d expect from a good smash burger. I got the vanilla frozen custard topped with cheesecake chunks and strawberry drizzle. 10/10 incredible. Smooth, cheesecakey, delicious. Overall a great experience, customer service was great! Ill go again!

First time trying this restaurant and was happy overall. The only thing that was basic was the beef hotdog. Bread was nice, but the hotdog didn’t seem fresh? Or maybe it was a little overcooked or something. Jalapeño burger was tasty and so was my custom shake! Kinda pricey for a couple of small meals ($50+).

We had been waiting for a Freddy’s to open near us so when this location opened we were thrilled. If you have never tried a Freddy’s Steakburger and their amazing fries and custard you need to come in NOW! The food is delicious. The burger is like a smashburger. Super tasty! The custard, not ice cream, is smooth and just the right dessert after a meal. The location gives an old school burger joint vibe. The team working here are all super friendly. The Manager is kind and makes sure everyone is taken care of. The prices are very much affordable when you consider what the other burger places charge nowadays. They have everything here! Brought my mom here and she loved it. We keep going every week. It’s Freddy’s Fridays for us.

And, as of 6/12/24, it is still an empty ‘ex-Del Taco’, with no sign of any activity that there will be a Freddys there anytime soon. (Other then the sign that they put up months ago)
August update. They are now working on the location. So we may see something soon-ish.

They are working on the building again. Workers have removed some of the ‘Del Taco’ roofline stuff outside, and look to be installing a new AC unit, and they are also working inside. The sign outside has been changed from ‘Coming Summer 2024’ to ‘Coming Soon’. Hopefully this will be true…

I was at a different Freddy’s recently, and asked one of the workers if they had any info about the Glendora location. And I was amazed that they did. Supposedly, they had heard second hand that the Glendora location was supposed to open in February or March. Hopefully…

They are working on the interior and exterior of the building, and have cut some trenches in the concrete flooring to lay some new pipes. Definite progress is being made!

Mid-January update
They are making good progress on rebuilding the old Del Taco. For a while it looked like they were going to keep the existing structure mostly intact. But a while ago, they took it down to the studs, and re-did the walls. That has been done, and there is now some exterior cladding being installed. Making good progress!

Looks like they will miss the estimated “February or March” opening. But progress is still being made. Looking more like the typical ‘Freddy’s’ place now.

The building is looking more and more like a Freddy’s. Also, the kitchen stuff is being installed. Looks like it is in the home stretch!

The signage is up, and they were assembling the outdoor tables when I was there. Getting so close that I can almost taste it!

The building seems to be ‘done’. The exterior and interior is either finished or just has a few final touches left. Probably just waiting for inspections and certifications and crew training now. Looks like we will get this about a year after the original planned opening.

They have had a delivery of food, the drive-thru menus are up, and the landscaping appears to be done.

As of 06-17, they are open! About a year after the original estimate, but it is open. I am sure that this last year has been challenging for the franchise.
