I’m not one to be a “Karen” but tonight was different & uncomfortable. Although I am unaware of Freddy’s customer service policies I definitely think it should have happened differently tonight. Placing our order went fine, although when I got to the window to pay, the customer service was not it. I pulled my phone out to do tap to pay, the guy in the drive thru dramatically made an annoyed face & sighed like I’d just done something wrong. Then we got our food, fine, as he handed me our last bag I started to ask if I could get some ketchup & Freddy’s Fry Sauce but was met with the slam of the drive thru window in my face. The guy in the drive thru noticed and smirked & shrugged his shoulders. I waited then he, seemingly annoyed again, came to the window and I asked again. I finally got what I’d asked for, for the second time. Most of the food we got was good although the quality is questionable. Received what looks like a burnt/charred unidentifiable item…. Any other experience I’ve had has been good but today was extremely disappointing.

Wow! I have never encountered a fast-food worker who clearly hates their job as much as the pierced-faced cashier I was forced to deal with here. Her attitude was that of someone who is being forced to work a job she hates. Her back was to me as I approached the register. She meandered my way so hesitantly, that I thought she must not have seen me. She eventually made it to the register where she said nothing at all. After ordering, my coupon QR code wasn’t working. After multiple tries with no results, I asked her what was wrong. She returned her gaze back into the restaurant and looked at me as if she had no idea what I was referring to. I had to spell it out for her, and she told me it was probably the brightness on my phone’s screen. I just stared at her to remind her this was her problem, not mine. She eventually got a manager to help. He just typed in the code number listed under the QR code. After all of that, I got to the car to discover she had ordered me the wrong sandwich. I didn’t go back. I didn’t need to spend another minute in that girl’s presence. Our food was quite greasy today, but at least they actually put a lid on the cheese curds this time.

As much as I wish to enjoy this place, they have repeatedly gotten wrong orders that I have stressed repeatedly in detail… Specifically, I am a lactose intolerant individual, and despite explicit and repeated requests for cheeseless smash burgers, only 1/3 of the burgers I receive come without cheese.
I’ve held off writing a poor review for quite some time, but it gets tiring after a while.

This place is SO good! Their steak burgers and fries are delicious! The new French onion burgers are out of this world. Their concretes are my favorite though. Try their brownie concrete, because it is so worth it! It is chocolate custard, brownie, and hot fudge. It is a chocolate lover’s dream! I can honestly say, it is one of the best burger joints in Wichita. They have shoestring fries. They are fresh and taste a lot better. If you have never had Freddy’s, prepare to have a new favorite. *Note – They have recently changed their menu. They no longer have the Hawaiian Delight concrete listed on the menu. I know it was a favorite. They do have a doubled drive-thru that converges into a single delivery lane. If they are busy, the drive-thru can take a tiny bit longer.*

Went through the drive thru where they ask for name but was still given the wrong order. When I returned for a refund the girl behind the counter thought it was cute and funny for giving me the wrong order. On top of that after the refund I used the men’s restroom where the soap dispenser on the wall and the hand pump one on the sink were both empty. Both of these can only make me assume that the male employees using that restroom aren’t washing their hands properly or are walking through the kitchen with contaminated hands to get to a sink with soap.
Freddy’s prices are too high to have such an embarrassing level of poor management.

They have great service. But I would recommend to everybody to check the bags if you’re going through the drive-thru. They are forgetting the condiments and the napkins. This has happened to me at the same Freddy’s three times. But their food is incredible and they’re friendliness is far none. I only hope that they get it together and train the employees a little better to properly add the utensils and the condiments to the order. That is my only complaint.
