I am not sure how or why a restaurant advertises that they close at 10:00pm when in fact they close at 9:39pm if not earlier. Clearly guests were still inside eating. The employees all looked at us and then tried hiding in the kitchen. So we left and headed to Five Guys where they actually honor their stated hours.

We love Freddy’s and we’re so excited to be near one again. We first tried this location out a week ago. I ordered my normal snickers concrete and it came to me as just plain ice cream with a scoop of snickers on top. We asked the server, “shouldn’t this be mixed up? It’s a concrete.” They replied that what we received was normal. (It’s not normal at any other Freddy’s we’ve been to!) Now, tonight we go to Freddy’s again to see if we really get a concrete or just a cup of ice cream with a topping, only to find out that they’re completely out of vanilla ice cream. On a Friday night. At 8:30 PM. Overall, we haven’t ever loved our experiences with this Freddy’s.

Really love that every year they do a military free meal voucher for Veteran’s Day. Always super friendly to me, pretty good quick service, food always hot. Obviously it’s diner style so none of it is remotely healthy for you, super greasy but good. It’s a bit pricy for me to eat there regularly so that’s the one time when I’ll go usually.

Absolutely loved the frozen custard. Had some good choices, but the variety for options on the custard could improve. Went through the drive thru both times visited this place and each time it felt like being rushed which was unfortunate since this was a new place for the family to try and we felt like we from the employee each time like we had to hurry up and select. Other than that, the service was good, and the food was great. Prices are a little high for fast food place.

Fries were rubbery and there were so many fries dumped into the bag that I refilled the container. I ordered sweet tea but received unsweetened. I didn’t have time to go into the store to have these issues correct, so I just won’t go back to this one.

I will never come here again. I drove to Shiloh from Belleville, sat in the drive thru for almost 30 minutes only to see this when I finally get home and open the bag. I ordered a jalapeño steak burger add lettuce and my burger only had ONE singular jalapeño on it and a couple pieces of lettuce. Seriously, how hard is it to make the burger properly. The workers are rude and obviously don’t care about their jobs. Plus they don’t ever answer the phone so to google I go.

So I love Freddy’s. And I will say that today, I just got off a hot sweaty shift at work that closed on a nasty note. I’ve always loved Freddy’s; their fries are amazing love the burgers, shakes are great. I have two complaints, one major. The drive through always takes forever. I work in food service and I understand staffing shortages, but I have never waited less than 20 minutes in that drive through. Today, I bought myself a shake, started drinking it as I drove home. When I got to the bottom I found a plastic shard from a broken knife in my mouth. I don’t want to make a huge deal out of it because I am obviously fine, but combined with the atmosphere inside and the lack of attentiveness I have received from staff, it’s gotten ridiculous.
