Not once has it been less than a 5star experience! Staff has always greeted us happily, with a smile and kindness beyond belief. They are especially nice to our kids and that obviously counts for a lot!!!! The boys absolutely love coming here because they feel welcomed and the food is absolutely yummy and then dessert!!! We have celebrated several milestones here (bday, good grades, athletic success) and staff has gone out of their way to Acknowledge our accomplishments. Heidi is amazing!! This was my first time in a while that I had come to Freddy’s, and it did not disappoint! I was greatly satisfied with my time here. Overall it is a clean place and they have very good food for a fast food restaurant. I ordered their crispy chicken club, and my mom ordered a steak burger. It was all fresh and hot. Also, they have very good frozen custard here!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our recent visit to Freddy’s in Romeoville for my mom’s 64th birthday celebration. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with incredible energy. The restaurant was spotless, the food was fresh and delicious, and the entire staff made us feel like family—but the real star of the night was manager Heidi.
Heidi went above and beyond to make sure my mom’s birthday was extra special. She greeted us with the biggest smile, checked in on us multiple times, and even arranged a sweet surprise for my mom that made her day truly unforgettable. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. You can tell she takes immense pride in her work and genuinely loves making people happy.
The entire team at Freddy’s was phenomenal, ensuring our food was perfect and even sharing in the celebration with us. The attention to detail and customer service at this location are simply next level.

I ordered via the drive-thru and was rather disappointed in the size of the chicken sandwich and the small amount of onion rings in the order. (Pictures attached) As you can see, the onion rings nowhere filled the bag even half way; there were 7, and one of them had a smaller one inside, so 8 rings total. The chicken did not cover a good amount of the bun. I think they are expensive for what you get.. At least it tasted good! I have eaten at Freddy’s in Kansas and remember it being better.

There can be two cars in the drive through and you still have to wait 35 minutes for your order. Not only is the burger the saddest thing I have ever seen, but I ordered a double and they can’t even get that right.

In a world with lots of fast food cheesburger options, freddys is a solid choice. Their burger patties are crispy on the edges and thin so id never order less than a double. The standard freddys burger comes with mustard pickle onion which is how I order a burger most the time anyway the fries are crispy and just OK but their fry sauce makes up for it. At about 11 bucks for a double cheese combo they are cheaper than a lot of the competition and they taste better than most.

Overall not a terrible experience but there are some highlights and some opportunities. The food is good, cannot complain. Typical of a Freddy’s and consistent with the expectations.
The place is highly understaffed, management needs to really get some extra people in there, it’s jam packed and poor kids are overwhelmed.
Dirty: this may be due to the lack of staffing. But customers were cleaning their own tables when the rags and spray was left out for the customer to handle. Bathrooms were just disgusting, might as well walk into a portable John. I have a small little girl and it’s a shame that she would need to use that bathroom. Again I think that falls with lack of staffing.

The service was decent, but the food was not very good. The fries are the shoestring style, but tasted like they had been sitting for awhile. The cheese was basically nacho cheese out of a can. The custards were fine, but nothing compared to other choices in the area.
