Lovely every time. The staff is kind and attentive – We drive 45 minutes to come here. The food is delicious and beats out competitors by a mile. They decorate for holidays, and I’ve never seen the establishment anything but clean. If you’ve never had Freddys, definitely make the time to try this location! (Oh, and the fry sauce is great!)

Waste of money! This is my first time visiting this restaurant. I order a burger in the Drive-Thru and a regular Shake mind you the shakes come in a mini regular and large. The lady in the Drive-Thru asked me if I wanted a combo and I said yes, I thought you said it was going to be $17 and some change. When I got to the drive-thru I said I’m a bit confused I thought you said $17.50? She said yes it was $17.42. I was in shock a few times. First she hands me a small cup and says that’s the regular Shake. I’m like if that’s the regular Shake what’s the mini in a shot glass? So I get the food and I see there’s no fries or drink or anything so I don’t know what the combo meal is, so I asked and they said they didn’t hear I wanted a combo. What am I paying $17.5 for? She said the burgers $10. She says I’m sorry I didn’t hear you say you wanted the combo do you want fries ? I said . She said would you like to pay for them now? I told her to forget it now on the burger review. I could have gone to Five Guys and got an amazing burger for under $10. This Burger was thin beef nasty sloppy mess, see the picture. I took one bite through it in the trash. The banana shake was decent.
I want to tell everyone that after I wrote this review. I was really not happy with the situation of wasting that much money. I took the burger back and went back to the restaurant and talk to the manager. He was absolutely amazing! He really saved this review and gained and retained a new customer! He made the order with fries and a drink and I didn’t like that sandwich and he told me not a lot of people do. So he had no problem remaking the order for a new customer. I would like to let the corporate office know what a great job he did. New burger he made is actually good it’s better than the rest of the places. So I’m changing my review from one star to four stars

It would have been a perfect first visit if the table tops and floors had a bit of attention. They were not exactly clean, but maybe it was very busy there before we walked in. The food was great. We got burgers and I got cheese curds and he got onion rings. We both had sodas. And split a dessert that was phenomenal. The service was fast. We did have a guy come ask us how everything was and while he was at our table he picked up trash off the floor and threw it away. The decor is cute retro diner. Each booth has an outlet for a quick charge on a lunch break. We both really enjoyed it and will go back.

I think a lot of these reviews are to picky and to angry. This is a fast food place so I’ll review it like fast food place and not a steakhouse….. This isn’t McDonald’s, it’s very much a step above that so when you pay 2 extra dollars for your combo you can expect better quality. $11 for a burger combo is pretty common in this economy. The burger tasted great and the onion rings were some of the best I’ve had in awhile. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted and the cashier was patient. My order came out fast and the manager went out of her way to hand it to me and tell me to have a fantastic day. I’m sorry if others have experienced something else at this location but my experience was fantastic.

The staff are doing a fantastic job with the opening of Elkhart’s Freddy’s location! We were greeted warmly and the young lady at the register took her time explaining the menu to us. The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Didn’t have to wait long. Chocolate custard was top notch – they offer pints to take home. Overall very good experience and we will definitely return! Shout out to our buddy Carter! Fabulous burger, thanks for the customer service friend

Got the California burger. It was wonderful! The fries are very tiny. They were so good! They were fun for a change! The frozen custard was every bit as good as Culvers. I loved this experience!

Food was very good, but customer service was absolute trash….my younger daughter (11) went in and wanted to pick up the order, we also had ice cream and have never been there before, she came back without it so we had missing items we paid for, I went back in with her with my receipt and their were other customers in front of me…..the cashier rudely cut them off to ask me what I needed because she noticed the receipt, very rudely said yea she walked off with only the bag of food and she didn’t grab the ice cream from the cooler, she had no idea! How would anyone know let alone a child if you don’t specify this and they may not know to ask, another employee also yelling very loudly at the other employees. It would have been fine if she simply stopped us and specified that we didn’t get the ice cream before she left out of the restaurant. Food again was very good but absolutely garbage service….wouldn’t recommend solely for that reason, no need to be rude to the customers because that’s your job and especially to a child. This place needs to do way better.

I had the the double patty melt with Onion Rings and drink. The sweet tea very good. The patty melt with swiss cheese and grilled onions on rye bread was perfect and OMG the beer battered onion rings topped every thing perfectly. We will definitely be back.

If I left a review 2 weeks ago, I would of gave 5 stars. Even tho the person asked our name in drive thru and when we drove up to the window she said a different name. We said, that not our name and told her our name. Instead of checking to see if she had the right order, she handed us a bag. Thankfully it was the right order. I had a smash burger and fries. Both items were good and food was hot. I loved the fries! They were fresh, hot, crispy and season/salt was soo good on them! I thought, Finally a place to get fresh great tasting fries! Today is 10/17/25 @ a little after 8pm this is our second time. – We went tonight and got a grilled chicken sandwich..the chicken was tough wasn’t big enough to cover the bun and hard to bite into.
I was soo looking forward to the fries. I can’t wait til we get home to start eating the fries! Home is only 5 minutes away and last time the fries were hot to eat and still hot when we got home! So again I start to eat fries after we drive away. Gross! Its like they’ve been sitting all day. Cold and rubbery. I only ate a couple bites of the grilled chicken sandwich (which was not made fresh since I said no bacon and they forgot to pick all the bacon off. I’m sure it was one they already had made)plus it wasn’t hot and it was tough. Crap! I’m still hungry! We spent $12.39 for a sandwich and fries that I threw in the trash! For the second time the lady at the drive thru asked for a name and when we pulled up to get our food, she said a different name instead of ours. But this time she said the order to make sure it was the correct order. We only do this on Fridays. Hubby always wants gross Chinese food close by Freddy’s. So I thought I finally found a good fast food place for myself. Not sure I want to go back after tonight. I had to put 1 star but it was 0 stars for me!
