Never tried Freddy’s before so I gave it a shot. It’s pretty much the same Steak n Shake down to the fries. Food was ok, they forgot the bacon on my bacon burger and everyone at this location seemed miserable.

I went through the drive thru sat at the speaker for 10 mins no one would respond to me. I pull up and I’m the only one in the drive thru. I get to the window and 2 employees walked up looked at me and walked off. I was there for 15 mins and didn’t even get my order taken. Wouldn’t be that bad but when you only got 30 mins on lunch.. the manager was obviously not managing there employees. With the experience that I had today I can’t consider going back to that restaurant for lunch.

Freddy’s is normally top tier.. Well not this visit.. I ordered a chicken tender kids meal for my 3 yr old granddaughter, with fries, an apple juice, and a cup of vanilla ice cream. She also wanted some cheese curds. I ordered a California burger combo add bacon with a large sweet tea. We experienced a bit of a wait so I expected the food to be hot.. The young lady at the window was very polite. I checked the bag and pulled into the old bojangles parking lot to give my granddaughter her food. I bit my burger and it was cold and tasted like it had sugar on it.. I thought I was just tripping so I bite it again, but it tasted exactly the same!! Next, I tasted my fries They taste liked they had been drenched in salt . I definitely cannot afford to waste $30 and still be hungry so I immediately went back to the store with my receipt and my food to request a refund. Well, I was told that my order was no longer in the system and the manager can remake it but he would not be able to refund it.

A recap of my last visit to Freddy’s which will probably be my last visit.
Ordered a veggie burger and two chili dogs (0ne with no cheese or onions & the other with onions but no cheese). Also ordered fries and a diet Pepsi….I was.asked to repeat entire order again which I did. After paying at the drive thru window I was told that “Veggie Burgers were frozen” and was given a refund. Aside from the inconvenience of having to go to another restaurant to accommodate our vegetarian, when opening our food we discovered we didn’t get chili dogs. Just two plain hot dogs with nothing on them. And the diet Pepsi was a regular Pepsi. This Freddy’s used to be fast and efficient. Now you pay more. it takes longer to get through shorter lines. The service is hit and miss and they may or may not get your order right. The fries were good and the girl who took my order and didn’t seem to have a clue was very friendly. So thanks but no thanks. i’m done!

Went opening day and you can imagine that it was quite busy. But it is run similar to an In-N-Out so even with a crowd they are very efficient. The shoestring fries were nice a crispy and I love the dipping sauces. They use Pepsi products and have a big soda fountain….but why have 3 slots for regular pepsi….add diet Mountain Dew. The burger was great I ordered a double cheeseburger California style and it reminds me of a double double, me likes it a bunch. To top it all off the Cookie custard sandwiches are a must. Oh I forgot nice fat chewy ice!

Unfortunately, we had to wait 15 minutes for 2 shakes. And it would be good to remind the workers to wear hairnets and not handle the food with the same gloves they use to touch their personal phones!!!

My husband and I received our meals through the drive thru, the service and atmosphere was good, and we have had Freddy’s before several times and we’re looking forward to dinner as we knew it was going to taste delicious. However, a few bites into my BURGER, I find a CHICKEN bone!?!?? I was shocked. Hopefully, they will be able to get this fixed so that no one else bites into their burger to find a chicken bone inside. Be sure to chew slowly everyone. We plan to revisit this Freddy’s in the future, but it’s going to be a good while before that happens.
