It is hit or miss, went 2 weeks ago and it was fresh hot and amazing.
On this last trip food was cold, my wife’s burger was a real smash burger (after it was packaged).the app said order ready, go in to pickup, I went in and waited 10min for cold food.

Stopped by Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers for the first time in a while, and it was a really solid experience overall. The staff was upbeat and polite, and even with a bit of a rush, they got the food out quickly and everything was hot and fresh.
I ordered a double steakburger with fries, and it hit the spot—the burger had that crispy edge and juicy center that Freddy’s is known for. The fries were thin and perfectly seasoned, great for dipping in the Freddy’s Fry Sauce. I also tried the chocolate custard sundae, and it was rich, creamy, and definitely worth the calories.
The only reason I didn’t go five stars was the dining area could’ve been a little cleaner—looked like they were short-staffed on upkeep—but nothing major. Overall, good food, friendly service, and still one of the better fast-casual spots for a quality burger and dessert combo.

Love these burgers! They are thin, hot, crispy and absolutely delicious!! The fries are thin cut and just perfectly salted. We also ordered shakes that are made from scratch with their frozen custard. The plain vanilla is the best to get off you want that authentic burger-fry and shake experience. The service is great when you arrive as they are eager to take your order. But be patient waiting for your burgers as each burger is made to order, so it’s fresh and hot which makes all the difference! Freddy’s is one of those places that we can’t drive by without stopping in and getting a bite. Highly recommend!!

First time ever having & honestly had high hopes and was very very disappointed. I’m all for paying for QUALITY but what I got was the complete opposite. I’ll start with one of the burgers I got was not the burger I ordered okay whatever I’ll eat it since I got it. I got cheese fries & what I was imagining cheese fries looked like Freddy’s cheese fries are not cheese fries it’s sad. Idk definitely won’t be going back anytime soon if ever. But hey just cause my first experience was god awful maybe your cheese fries will be cheesy! & you’ll get what you paid for!

Update. Below is what I said previously..since then, there seems to have been improvements. Thank you LEAH and HALEY for changing how I view Freddys. You ladies were so nice and pleasant and it makes me want to come back. The service was FINALLY good and the food was too.

I just want to give a shout out to our local Freddy’s. Stopped in today for lunch. Service was fast and friendly. Food was hot, tots were awesome. The jalapeno fry sauce is addicting. Keep up the great work!

I had never heard of Freddy’s before driving past here one day. I decided to bring the kids to try it out. The food and the aesthetic feel to me like a mix of Culvers and Whataburger. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food is made to order, so it takes a little waiting, but the results are excellent.

I had the pleasure of checking out the new Freddy’s restaurant in the Uptown Summerville area, and it did not disappoint! I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and fries —everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

This review absolutely breaks my heart. When we first started going here it was absolutely fabulous. Last three visits staff has been horrible and dining room has been beyond filthy. Basics not stocked, tables filthy, floor filthy. Note we do not ever go during busy times. Tonight we took our granddaughters for the first time and they left food off our order. One staff said no bacon. Other staff said they had bacon. Had to recook the chicken sandwich four times because the first three that they never ordered in the first place were breaded and fried and we ordered grilled. The manager clearly feels he isn’t needed there a lot anymore and it shows. This time we are done. Won’t be back.
