First time trying Freddy’s. Came here on vacation. I can honestly say, it’s some of the best fast food I’ve ever had. The food was hot and delicious. The sauces are all so yummy. The staff is very friendly. If I lived in an area with Freddy’s, I’d be a regular!

This place is utterly fantastic. A throwback to 1950s chic, with just enough of a modern flare. Red and chrome comfy booths table tables throughout and an extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff about their varied menu. Very true is just a burger and custard joint, but they do offer awesome chicken fingers too.
The burgers are completely made to order, you order at the counter, you get a number then listen for your number. Served on bright red trays and bright red baskets, the place is great. They have these French fries that are so good. They are about half width of a McD fry, but some can get crazy long. They are crispy and have just enough potato flavor to remind you “this is how fries should be.”
I am an onion ring fan, being from Jersey, and these are close but not identical to Jersey diner onion rings. They aren’t the Sonics ones or the Red Robin ones and nothing like Burger King ones. They are a batter dipped then fried. Check the pics.
Now for the burgers. Very close to a smash burger but not quite. A good amount of meat, flavorful, with just a little of the crispness a slider or smash burger gets, but not really thin. They have about a dozen different varieties of burgers you can add and subtract from and I would take one of these over Five Guys any day of the week.
They also have hot dogs, kids meals, yater tots, cheese fries, and even have a mini size shake for the super full adult or the child that was exceptionally well behaved .
I have included some photos, including the menu. I hate being surprised when I go into a new place. It’s near mall so it’s close enough to 264 to stop by one night in the way back from the beach, or just be naughty and go there only for the custard and cheese fries! Date night, family night, no matter.
Jeremy is one of the operating managers and a pure delight to speak with. We need to support this restaurant as it’s not a cookie cutter fast food joint. They take pride in their product and it shows 100%

We finally gave Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers a try, and let me tell you—this place is no ordinary fast-food stop. Their burgers are fresh, cooked to order, and smashed to perfection, giving you that crispy edge with juicy flavor inside. The Steakhouse Burger and the Patty Melt? Absolute flavor bombs! We couldn’t stop nodding at each other like, “Yep, this is it.”

I have been here 3 times now, and the service is inconsistent. I first found the inconsistency in when you placed the order. Some servers listen and repeat back the order, and some do not. Also, when making the food, it is inconsistent. All three times, I ordered chili cheese fries. Once they had onions on it, once they did not, and once they didn’t even add the chili and I had to ask them to add it.

First time here and I do plan to return. Store is well lit very clean and not cluttered. I like the open atmosphere and the workers are friendly.
I order a chicken sandwich combo with onion rings and my husband got the bacon cheeseburger combo with fries (shoe string style) both were good and the onion rings were good as well. The fries were awesome.

Our first time at this location was by far one of our best experiences in a long time in a quick serve restaurant. The restaurant’s manager was attentive with checking on his customers, providing suggestions for new customers, and assisting with the ordering process.
Outside seating was available and offers sturdy umbrellas for a nice dining experience.
The food was great. If your a pickle lover like I am, you will be so happy with their pickle offerings. (Pro tip: if you are salt conscious, ask for no or light seasoning). The French Fry sauce is great on the onion rings too!!
We were very happy with the price as we both ate lunch for less than $25.
The custard pushed the whole experience even higher as the manager offered it to us for free since it was our first time in. Get in there while you can to try the pumpkin pie concrete
