Stopped by Freddie’s Friki Tiki over the weekend for a drink with a friend to enjoy the beautiful weather and fantastic view of lake Michigan and we were not disappointed. The tiki bar while not huge has a nice vibe to it with tropical decor to give off that TIKI feeling which we both liked and the drink menu while not that extensive does have some delicious drinks that you would expect from a tiki bar such as Mai Tai, Pina Colada, Long Island iced tea, and Strawberry margarita, and a drink that I would highly recommend called the Miami Vice that is a combination of there Pina Colada and Strawberry margarita which I chose and was very pleased with plus the bartender did say that we could order a custom drink so I was glad to know that the options do not end at the menu. The fact that we were able to enjoy our drink outdoors so close to the lakefront was the biggest attraction but seeing as we were visiting on a Saturday I feel the time would have been enjoyed much better if they had a band with live music although they did have music playing I felt it could have been a little bit louder but overall we enjoyed our visit and know that we made the right choice and will definitely make sure to return multiple times over the summer.
