For some reason, it was really hot in the building, and my waitress didn’t speak enough English to understand what I was trying to tell her. I’m not upset with the waitress because she was really nice and trying so hard.. Anyways the only thing I was disappointed with was the hushpuppies!! I ate here a few years back, and man, they were like soft and fluffy..kinda like cake pops..they were heaven! This time they were tiny burnt and hard. So sad I talked those up for months and we finally got a chance to go eat there..but atleast the fish was good.

The only good thing: the catfish. Thankfully that’s what they’re known for. Everything else tasted like it had been brined overnight in heavy salt water. It was horrible! Got the friend oysters that tasted like pickles. Also got the fried gator that they tried remaking, but it still tasted sour, almost like there was lemon juice infused into the meat. Not so fantastic. The only thing that didn’t have salt was the fries, which should’ve been salted! The air conditioning was broken, so it was hot as all get out. The place was also very unkempt and dirty. Not so great. Also, nothing was cooked consistently and myself and my other half ended up sick by the time we got home. Definitely won’t be back.

I ordered a fish plate a shrimp plate and alligator for appetizer. To be honest the food is trash the fish they selling is not catfish very disappointed will not recommend anybody go over here for fake catfish

It’s Truly freshwater catfish from Arkansas rivers. The filets are light and crispy yet heavy with meat. I loved the food so much I decided to help out on my days off work so I can satisfy my inner fat boy
