Total tourist trap restaurant, but it’s to be expected right outside of Glacier. The food was ok, but really expensive. The huckleberry ice cream was good, though, and the bar attached to the restaurant was nice if you wanted a drink in the evening.

I really like the abundance of indoor and outdoor seating here making it great for large groups and bringing your four legged friends. Like most people have said, the food is no frills and only just ok for the area. Many other places to go for a similar price but much better food. Still, it’s not horrible and has a variety of options to please everybody.

A pleasant surprise was their baked beans! Definitely get some on the side of whatever you order. Tons of flavor and they were a great texture. Apparently the Huckleberry Fizz is a bit hit or miss, but I truly enjoyed it and would get it again.

I also really enjoyed their buffalo sauce to dip fries in and put on my burger. Truly added a depth of flavor my meal desperately needed.

It was a great little place. They have different things, I got the cheeseburger and fries, my wife got a BLT with fries. They also have ice cream too. Givr them a shot if you’re in the area, they are right there when you turn to go in to go to the West Glacier entrance.

This place has cafeteria style food and it tastes like pre-made frozen food. We had burgers and they were very mediocre the fries were decent. For $18 they should at least be made fresh. The ice cream was good here but they have very limited(5) selections for an “ice cream shop”, I had huckleberry and it was very good. All the staff seemed worn out by the summer crowds and ready to go home. They were all young J1 workers from other parts of the world. The outdoor patio area was nice on a cool summer day.

We purchased 2 burgers with fries and 2 beers from Freda’s today. The restaurant wasn’t busy. No complaints with the drinks or fries. They were great. The overpriced burgers were a different matter. I was expecting a decent burger for $18. It looked and tasted like something from McDonald’s. Hubby’s bison burger was $20 and wasn’t much better. They had the hide to add an 18% tip to the bill. Considering you are expected to serve yourself here, that was a bit ripe. A tip should be for great service, not simply doing your job. All up, our $62.59 meal was overpriced for 2 mediocre burgers with chips and a drink. Needless to say, we won’t be dining at Freda’s again.

I was shocked at how good the food was at this little place. The bison burgers were cooked perfectly and had a ton of flavor. The chicken banh mi was packed full of flavor. we were fortunate to get to try their chili. It was a very respectable cup of chili. tons of flavor and a good thickness.

We sat at the bar and ate our food. It was a chill vibe and they b have the option for you to purchase a mug that gives you an option to get a discount on a brew. Seems like something great for someone who is able to be a regular there in the area. I tried the Elk bratwurst with a Cesar salad on the side. Everything was delicious and it was a nice way to end our time after being in the Glaciers all day! I also tried the huckleberry mule and the bitter root brewing huckleberry honey ale that was on tap. Highly recommend it all!

Nice place with lots of seating indoor or outdoors. Bakery and bar as well as restaurant. The food was delicious and was pleasantly surprised and beer good as well. I got the Cubana and it generously sized and was one of the best of tasted.

We got an elk bratwurst with potato salad as a side and tomato bisque bowl. Tables were not so clean and tomato bisque soup was very thick grainy and not blended well. Elk Bratwurst was good and the potato salad was tasty. They have pretty flowers outside the restaurant and restaurant was busy (possibly because of the crowd visiting Glacier National Park during the long weekend).

This place has some pretty good food. I had the bison burger which was pretty good, essel had a huckleberry pie which was delicious and a huckleberry shake which was okay. They also have a full ice cream bar. Connected to the business is a full bar
