This cozy Bar & Grill is a great spot to relax and enjoy excellent food and cocktails. The food is nothing less than excellent and very reasonable. The calamari appetizer is quite possibly the best you can find in the middle of cattle country. The prime rib and steaks have a great flavor. And by all means you have to eat a dinner roll. Small menu but they have mastered every item…… oh yeah don’t forget the bread pudding!

My wife ordered medium rare prime rib. Came out bleeding. Waitress put in something else other than my lamb chop order. Finally arrived halfway into the meal after everyone received their order. I requested medium to medium rate and came out rare, also mashed potatoes were dry. Both her and my meal were OK… taste was fair, nothing to rave about about. They couldn’t get the order correct and our meals were definitely not worth the hype or price. I really did not want to say anything with friends who know the owners.

AMAZING! The food and service was above and beyond. We started with calamari, It was cooked perfect. I ordered the salmon, my sister ordered the Cuban (which I will say has to be the best in town), Dad ordered the Chicken Marsala which was full of flavor. I will crave all of it again!

Pros: Pretty good food and nice portions, very clean, staff was friendly, nice patio area.
Cons: They don’t have draft beer, “real” tomato juice (for the beer) or ranch dressing and the blue cheese dressing tasted like horseradish. The music style was that of the Frank Sinatra/ Dean Martin era. Not my style. With a name like “Fred and Barney’s”, you’d think it’d be a bit more “lively”. It was nice to try, but very doubtful I’d go back.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. The owners and staff were all very friendly. We had the Prime Rib burgers and they were definitely Prime! The buns were perfectly toasted and the potato wedges were well-seasoned. Looking forward to returning!

Nice decor and very helpful waitstaff. We ordered chicken marsala and prime rib and both were good. I wanted to try the onion rings that were shown on their internet post but found that they are only served as a huge appetizer with other fried vegetables. Since I didn’t want that much fried food I passed on what brought me in. Sad! Other than that disappointment our visit was good.

Went to Fred and Barneys a couple months ago and overheard the owner complaining that people were “cheap” for wanting to split a large and overly priced portion. I also witnessed him make a couple leave for sending their food back because the burger was extremely undercooked. Unfortunately it gets worse! My husband and I decided to return a week or so later and overheard this SAME owner yelling at his kitchen staff and telling one girl to “shut up.” Our food came out perfectly both times we went but the owners seem to not care about their patrons or staff. This establishment is subpar to what it is advertised as. The floors are sticky, other than the noise of the owner constantly abusing his employees- the atmosphere is bland and doesn’t seem to have a grip on any overall theme. The food was good while we were there but we will not be returning.

Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Their Cuban sandwich was amazing. I just got back from Miami which has a lot of Cuban food and my sandwich at Fred and Barney’s was better than the Miami Cubans. I was blown away. Portions are huge as well!

YUCK! didn’t get “to go” order correct, also out of tequila and vodka!”
No fries or condiments in sack. They certainly were not too busy to make such mistakes–only 2 other people in place! I spent 15.05 & GAVE THEM A TWENTY!! HOPE THEY DO BETTER. WHILE WAITING AT BAR FOR FOOD ORDER THE OTHER CUSTOMER SENT THEIR DRINK BACK BECAUSE OF FLY IN DRINK. Hope they have better luck because that’s probably why they don’t have a full parking lot.
