Great food, fun atmosphere, and really nice people! Everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff made us feel welcome from start to finish. The ahi tuna and corned beef and cabbage were amazing! Nice portion sizes and the band was really good! We can’t wait to come back!

If you’re on Anna Maria Island, Freckle Fin absolutely deserves a spot on your must-do list! From the delicious food (Nachos – must have) and fun, creative drinks (Leaping Leprechaun-My favorite) to the friendly staff and laid-back island vibe, it’s the perfect hangout for just about anyone.
We spent a week on the island and made it a point to stop in every night—there was always something different happening, and the crowd was just as great as the atmosphere. By our third visit, we were already feeling like locals. The bartenders welcomed us like old friends and even remembered our go-to drinks exactly how we like them. Although they were usually short staffed they made sure we were acknowledged and would get to us as quickly as they could.
We already miss our favorite pub and can’t wait to be back at Freckle Fin on our next trip to the island!

Freckled Fin is hands down one of my favorite spots on AMI.
The staff and bartenders are awesome – quick, friendly, and attentive. The GM Steve is super welcoming, present, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the place and the people in it.
The Guinness goes down easy and is poured right. Food is legit too. Everything we’ve had has been solid.
Live music every evening. Great environment, awesome vibe, and one of those places you end up staying way longer than you planned.
If you’re on Anna Maria Island and not stopping at Freckled Fin, you’re doing it wrong.

I rarely give anything under four stars, and I struggled with this one. We had to wait over an hour for our food when we saw other tables get theirs quicker. This isn’t a fancy restaurant and it’s mostly bar food. So I don’t know why it would take an hour. It also wasn’t very good. I definitely was not impressed. The fries were absolutely terrible! Also, when I went to the bathroom, it was awful! I honestly wish we hadn’t gone here because I felt like it was a waste of our time and money. Our server was fantastic. He was very friendly and did a good job. I don’t want to blame him. I liked the vibe of the place, I love me an Irish pub. But I was not impressed and I probably won’t go again, unfortunately.

We stopped in for a drink and some appetizers on a Wednesday evening. It was a fun, laid back vibe with live music. There was ample seating outside as well as inside the bar. We were able to take a seat wherever we wanted in the bar and our server was very sweet and attended to us right away. We ordered a few high noons, a Moscow mule and some appetizers. Everything came out fresh and was delicious. I definitely recommend the RUBEN ROLLS appetizer. They were so good and very filling!! We will definitely be back next time we’re on Anna Maria Island.

Party of 4. About 5pm on a week night. Several empty tables. Several TVs with sports, along with some 70s and 80s music.
They have live music too on some nights.
Service was decent and quick.
My wife ordered the corned beef and cabbage dinner.it was a large portion. The meat and potatoes were excellent. The cabbage was bland but not terrible. The carrots were hard as a rock and not edible.
I had the reuben sandwich. It was excellent. Came with choice of sides. I chose Cole slaw. It was creamy and excellent.
Our friends had burgers and the were perfectly cooked and first rate also.

Finding the Freckled Fin on Anna Maria Island was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Florida. This is a lovely little pub and definitely a favorite of locals. Our bartender, Chris, greeted us warmly and made us feel at home as if he’d been serving us for years. The drink selection is outstanding and Chris is not stingy with his pours. The Irish rock music was loud, but not inappropriately so, just right to provide a raucous atmosphere but still allow for easy conversations all across the room. The food, almost all made in site, was wonderful.

First time at Freckled Fin Irish Pub after coming to the area for years — and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and outstanding service. The owner even stopped by our table, bought us a round, and brought an appetizer on the house. Super welcoming and fun place. Highly recommend!
