Tried out this place for the first time. We ordered an elote loco and a chorreado. No matter how much mayo, nacho cheese or Chile was in the cups the elote tasted dry no flavor. The combination of pastes did not mix well. Great idea for the valley but need to work on the execution. Better off going to a Michoacana. Best thing was the strawberry smoothie.

If you’re not looking to chase down an elote truck or you can’t find one in your neighborhood, this is an excellent place to go to for that Elote Truck craving. They taste amazing and they have great customer service! The ladies are very friendly. They also have your out of the ordinary elotes (cheese covered, chip sprinkled, etc) and more items I am definitely coming back to try.

Finally decided to try a “maruchan loca,” and maybe I should try one from elsewhere before making up my mind that they’re disgusting. I’m not sure what all they pour inside the soup, but it did not taste good. The corn that is scattered onto the tray was not fully cooked. Couldn’t even swallow it. They should just use canned corn if they don’t know how to boil corn on the cobs properly. Also, the red chile sprinkled over the whole thing was not good.

Came here to try the Sonora dog. I specifically asked for a Sonora. Instead, I received a hotdog on a bun with avacado, mayo, and pico de gallo. I dont know if this place knows what a real Sonora dog is or just wasn’t in the mood to make it correctly. FYI: It consists of a hot dog that is wrapped in bacon and grilled, served on a bolillo-style hot dog bun, and topped with pinto beans, onions, tomatoes, and a variety of additional condiments, often including mayonnaise, mustard, and jalapeño salsa.

Amazing place , different kinds of elotes. love the inside was beautiful, i love elotes (corn), the corn i got was everything on it which was mayo,cheese,chili, hot cheetos crumbs. and my jamica drink was amazing !!!! loved it here will back with my family

The elote was ok. I didn’t like the chile they used. They also added crushed hot Cheetos in the elote I thought it was only garnish on top. the mayo and limón made it into some type of paste as you mixed it.

Absolutely fantastic experience @ FreakElotes! Very kind staff and reasonable wait time. Pricing is reasonable too! The aguafrescas are divine—I got the cucumber-limon and my girlfriend got the limonanda. I will make it my mission in life to try everything on the menu!

I was craving corn in a cup. I came upon this place. The corn is good. It is a bit spicy, but you keep eating the corn because it tastes delicious. They also sell aguascalientes frescas, shakes, and other snacks.

This is my 1st time here at this Freak elotes its a very good place to eat all these trendy foods corn in cup, and they have their own creations that are very tempting. Staff is very nice and hospitable. I recomend this place if you never been, super clean too and have nice little wall tables so you can dine in. Will come back to this place.
