Fraze’s Scratch Cookin’ offers daily specials, the best Phillies outside of Philly, Cubans, homemade sides and hand cut fries. On Tuesdays we have Indiana style pork tenderloin sandwiches. We also have the Crunchy Cuban on Tuesdays. On Wednesday we do pot roast. It’s serious comfort food! Thursdays you have a choice of homemade meatloaf or 2 hand cut boneless pork chops served with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. Friday is Fish and Shrimp Friday and we end the week on Saturday with Smokin’ Saturday! Andy fires up the smoker and does ribs and brisket! You’ll need to try the deep fried corn on the cob and homemade collard greens. But wait! There’s more! Save room for dessert! We have fresh, never frozen homemade individual pies!

Stopped in for the first time after hearing good things. Nice little mom and pop restaurant. Menu was nice and easy to navigate. Had a bit of a sticker shock with the price of the sandwiches that do not come with sides. But the Philly i ordered was slammed pack and was delish and def worth the price. Also really like the 5 guys style fries which you don’t see often. The baked beans were great as well. Was not a fan of the potato salad but that would be more of a personal preference. Overall a very good experience, very friendly interaction with at least 4 different employees. If your in the area and looking to support local hit them up.

First timer’s at Fraze’s. Everything is scratch made in the kitchen just like the sign says.

Daily Specials that can sell out early they are so good.

The ribeye shaved Philly was amazing and felt like I was back in PA. The Sorrento roll gives Amoroso’s a run for their money.

The turkey club held its own and was also delicious. How can you go wrong with hand cut fries and malt vinegar?

We’ll definitely be back for the homemade cheesecake and pies!

cozy. quaint. a neighborhood diamond in the rough that the locals may know, but only Google knew for this visitor.

the ham and bean soup was a tasty start, but I really enjoyed their corn bread they had with the soup. was about to ask for more, but my turkey sandwich arrived.

kind of bummed that they were out of the peanut butter chocolate pie, but only highlights that it’s popular.

would add this small place to my short list for Daytona.

Absolutely the best service. The best food. Absolute best fish sandwich I have had and I’m from the Florida Keys. It’s made with LOVE. I can tell! The corn on the cob was absolutely delicious. I have never had it that way. His patty melt was amazing. The meat was absolutely top-notch delicious. Then we have the cucumber and onion salad, delicious best ever! Then to top it off macaroni and cheese. Delicious ! The atmosphere, & the food. Amazing! We were treated so good. Next time we are coming back for Pie! Knowledgeable staff. If you want real cooking come here. If you want great service come here. Wow. We will be back again! Our new favorite spot! Not to even mention the prices!!!! Why waste money somewhere else?! Perfect food. Perfect menu. They poured LOVE on everything! Wowwww

Great home style cooking. Daily specials that have followers. If you like pork tenderloin sandwiches, Tuesday is a must! Their sides are good but warning they are small unless you trade your two sides for an order of their great fresh cut fries. The entrees are very hardy though.

It’s a good-enough lunch spot, but prices are out of line with overall quality. The wait for the sandwiches to be made was too long, especially at lunch time.

The famed pork tenderloin sandwich was substantial but the bun used to impress you is much too small and soft. The price ended up at about $13.50 before drink and tip which didn’t match the menu, as I recall. Perhaps the taxes bumped it.

Pork tenderloins for two with included sides and drinks and tip came to about $37. Again, while a hearty meal the cost overwhelms the quality.

***WOW***
I really don’t think I want to tell you about this little gem because you will love it here and I won’t be able to get in anymore!!! ❤️❤️❤️

With that said, FRAZE’S little place is AMAZING

If those who remember, he had a small place inside a gas station in OBS
We ordered from them all least 3xs a week
NOW, if you read my posts you know I HATE to cook

The dishes he provided were so different FROM SCRATCH (delicious) that you would get a variety of meals for inexpensive prices and never have the same thing twice

Well, the gas station owners were terrible to him and he moved to Holly Hill

We found them again on Ridgewood Ave trying to find a place to eat
and there they were. A HUGH sign is out front begging us to come in

FRAZE’S is a tiny place but there is still lots of room inside PLUS plenty of picnic tables outside.

We walked in, they were busy (help was short tonight) so we sat ourselves down, looked at the menu but while looking at the great dishes, The sweetest of family told us there was a special menu for weekends.

Again, ***WOW***
They had fall off the bone ribs, New York strip, Brisket,
CRAB CLAWS!!!
and more

We ordered and was told there was a wait because of the short staff
I did say FROM SCRATCH RIGHT?
But not like your big expensive restaurants, it did come rather quickly

While waiting for our food
I looked over to different people’s plates crude, I know
But, that’s me.
When I see fantastic meals I want to ask what they are having.

This adorable family invited me over to explain there dishes.
Wait until you see the crab claws…I was salivating. YUM

They even invited us over to sit and eat with them
(We exchanged #s too)

What a great experience, fun, inviting time we had.

ALSO, they have karaoke on I think just Saturday’s? I will have to get back to you on that
If you sing, you will be put in a raffle to try to win your dinner WHAT???!!!!

Again, BUT, if you don’t get there early, they will be eating out of house and home
Did I tell you, they make their meals FROM SCRATCH

Anyway, we made plans with our new friends and hosts to come back next weekend.
(AND had to pre-order the ribs because they always run out AND they make A LOT)

Don’t ruin it for me but DO go to FRAZE’S SCRATCH kitchen, you will be pleasantly surprised and delited you did!!!

I went there a year ago and I’m still disgusted. Everytime I come back to this area I’m reminded of the horrible bland nasty food. Before I even saw the food I saw the restaurant. Talk about dirty. My gosh. The place of if I hit the back of my chair it was like an old man’s head of dandruff came flying off the seat. Disgusting. I was next to a window and it didn’t look like they cleaned that windowsill in over 3 years. Dusty. Dead flies. Absolutely disgusting. If they can’t keep the front of house clean I can only imagine behind the kitchen. I’ve seen too many kitchen nightmare episodes. This places food was disgusting I didn’t even order. I tried a bite of my friends sandwich and it was bland and boring. I can make a better one at home. Why pay for a nastier spot. Nice ppl tho
