I love NY style pizza and this place delivers on it.
It’s a great atmosphere, the people are nice, but the service is hit or miss.
The young lady who served us was more interested in her phone than the customers.
Yes, I would go there again.
We did not have a wait to be seated and Savannah was a great server during our meal! I found the food to be hot, fresh, and tasty. Nothing jumped out to really wow me but everything we ordered was good and consistent.
There was a live singer for entertainment and laid laid-back crowd started to build as we ate. I think for a casual dinner and some entertainment we will visit again.
The first thing was the beer that was ordered was the wrong one, the board at the bar said it was a Shock Top, but what was received was a dark beer that tasted like pizza crust. Not terrible, but not the beer that was ordered. We asked the waitress about it, thinking it was simply a mix up. She went to go check on it, and apparently forgot about us. 15 minutes later she comes over and says that its some kind of pretzel variant and they don’t have regular Shock Top. It was obvious she forgot. Fine, whatever, if the waitress had pointed that out when ordering or if there was any indication on the menu board it would be understandable.
The food comes, and its great, however we didn’t get the standard bread that every other table got, and that we’ve always gotten before. Disappointing, but the food we do get is awesome.
We got the special three course for Valentine’s Day, so when we order dessert we ask for one of each. I expect to get one chocolate and one passion fruit mousse. When the dessert gets there it looks like two of the same thing, but the server is gone before we can ask. We find that both are passion fruit, and when the server comes back around I ask if one is the chocolate we ordered. She acts like one of them is different at first, and then without checking tells us that they are out of the chocolate. Its not even 6PM at this point, and this is on their special menu for the holiday. She then raves about how its “so pretty” and asks if it is good. I agree that it is good, and it is, but isn’t what we ordered. “Perfect!” she says, as she leaves one of the two boxes for leftovers we requested and disappears.
What I assume was a manager is asking everyone else how their meal is, but skips over us entirely. It seemed like they didn’t want to know how our experience was.
Despite how good the food was, it was a terrible experience.
