We met a group of friends here. We made a reservation just to make sure because this was Valentine’s Day. However, this did not look like a romantic place.
I was going to order a calzone, though I couldn’t. I was told that they don’t make the dough on special days like today. For an Italian place like this, I’m not sure that that makes sense. So I ordered my second choice, chicken fettuccine Alfredo. Other than needing a little salt, this was a tasty dish. The chicken had a great grilled flavor.
Service was hit and miss. One order was wrong but eventually we got the right order. Others got drink refills though I was never asked.
The issues could have caused a 3 star rating but I’ll give them the benefit of a doubt. I would try this place again to get a better feel for this place.

My Husband and I stopped here for dinner last night and it was exquisite! Our server, Victoria, was knowledgeable and helped me pick the Lobster Ravioli and I’m so glad that’s what I got! Great portions and the sauce and filling were amazing! My Husband got the Chicken Parmesan and loved it! Don’t sleep on this is place y’all! We’ll be back!

Food tastes great, looks great, the portion sizes are so big I always get to take some home and eat on it later, and all of the staff is always incredibly friendly! Prices are reasonable and if you consider the portions you’re getting plenty for what you pay for. Never had a bad experience here.

Best Italian spot in town, hands down. The staff is awesome, we enjoyed having a small get together for my daughter’s 10th birthday, (she picked the place herself).

Really good food! I love how this food sits good on my stomach (unlike other Italian places I’ve been where I feel half dead after eating)
The flavors taste really fresh and has a homemade vibe to it… they don’t abuse the salt or any other ingredient.
Every time I have eaten there every flavor has been balanced to perfection.!
It’s a small place relatively… feels cozy and familiar. My daughter is autistic and we can’t go many places with her because of the noise level that usually disturbs her greatly… now at Fratellis the noise level is nice. Soft not too loud music in the background, if you go you totally can hear and talk with the people l without having to scream so it’s a very calming atmosphere so even my little one loves it.
We are also new to Slidell so this has been like a small little gem we are happy to have discovered.

Food was very good. My chicken parm was fantastic. My wife said her lasagna was very good. My friend had the veal piccata and said he wished it had more capers and lemon to it, but said it was pretty good. We would go back here for sure and try to more dishes.

HANDS DOWN the best Italian cuisine Ive ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I had Shrimp Palermo and my wife had Chicken Marsala. She has raved about the marsala sauce for 3 days. Do not miss the opportunity to eat here. We intend to go back lots and try every item on the menu.

Me and my girlfriend visited Fratellis on February 2nd. Yes its a late review. But its genuine! Lol. We really really enjoyed this place and constantly think about it since we traveled to Texas. The food here is absolutely amazing. Such awesome flavor notes. I highly reccomend this place. The best part (hard to believe because the food was so good) was our service. Our server was so good to us. Conversating and checking on us quite often. This was the best place food wise we had visited in the New Orleans area hands down. Definitely the most memorable and we definitely do our food research. So at the end of the day if you question going here just do it. You wont be disappointed.

This place is terrific. It is not pretentious. It is home style, thin sauce, great tasting Italian food. I’ve tried a few things now and have not been disappointed. We also happened in on a Monday where they were open for a private party only and they took us anyway. Big brownie points for customer service and a heavenly tiramisu.
