We were seated on the first floor by the window/door. The seats and table needed better cleaning. The server lady was friendly and courteous. The food was good but clam chowder was a bit salty. No wait, and no reservation needed, so that was good.

Gluten-free dinner rolls that are tasty! Gluten-free pastas! Gluten-free sandwich bread! The loaded mac n cheese was the best mac n cheese I’ve ever had, Gluten-free or otherwise! The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is county cute! My new favorite restaurant in Placerville!

The absolute best place downtown for breakfast/brunch. I had the focaccia Benedict and it was absolutely DELISH! The Country Potatoes and mimosa were just the icing on the cake. I will definitely be back

I got a lot of recommendations of this place came here with friends and family. We ordered everything everything was good my daughter had the only complaint she ordered crab melt and didn’t like it. She said to fishy for her and that says a lot because she is a pescatarian. She also had a side of sweet potato fry’s that she really liked. Besides that we had surf and turf which was great, my son had seafood cavatappi that he liked a lot. I had the blue cheese burger which was a giant. Also fresh baked cookie and scoop of ice cream for dessert to top it off.

Great music, great service, phenomenal food. If you’re looking for a recommendation, GET THE CHIPOTLE PASTA. It’s incredible. I got the avocado toast and it was delectable. The portion sizes ratio well to the price and I adore this little spot. It’s so cute. The server Jayden is a sweetie.

Franny’s Farm Table has always been a must-visit on my way back from Tahoe. I’m always surprised it’s hard to find on the map and isn’t offered at the top of the list when I search for “restaurants in placerville.” The food here is *out of this world* and I’ve always had friendly and efficient service.

It’s been years since I’ve been here and was stoked to find it’s still here and really hasn’t changed much. Heavenly was mostly closed due to wind so I decided to get an early start home and was rewarded by catching brunch service here, which is just as delicious as dinner!

The biggest challenge is having to choose between all the delicious options

Edit: to be completely honest I wrote this as I was awaiting my brunch order. Update after eating—everything above is 100% accurate. If y’all have eaten at better places I’m all ears. Food is fire and service is great. I got the two Benedicts combined—tomato, spinach and bacon. They even gave me a couple extra slices of bacon on the side
The potatoes are crispy and delicious. The photos don’t really do it justice but give you the basic idea (I added hot sauce)

Absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is cozy and fun, the servers are friendly, and the food… oh my god, the food. Last time we came, we ordered the warm artisan bread, the BLAST, and the mac and cheese. The bread is made fresh every day, and it’s just perfect, soft, warm, and full of flavor. My partner had the BLAST and said it was amazing, reminding him of the club sandwiches he used to get as a kid when his parents took him to nice restaurants in LA.

But the real star is the mac and cheese. It’s hands down the best I’ve had in a very long time, and honestly the best in the area. Love this place, and huge shoutout to the staff for making every visit such a great experience!

Quaint and pleasant. The service was excellent. We ordered the seafood Cavatappi, it was delicious. Mixed feelings about the Jambalaya Fettucini. The sauce was great but some of the pasta was not cooked to my liking. I would definitely go back.

So trying to not bash them for uncontrolables but it all added up quickly. First we were told they were all out of buns but they would substitue any other bread at no charge. I ordered a crab melt. My family then made all of their orders. The waitress came back and let me know that they were all out of crab. Saturday at lunch time I wouldn’t expect to be out of two critical ingredients but it’s okay I change my order to a burger no tomato with focaccia bread instead of a bun and a cup of French onion soup with a side of fries.

Everyone at the table is disappointed with their french fries they were all soggy and cold. Of course my burger had tomatoes on it which was my only request, as they don’t ask you how you want your burger cooked. I would have requested medium but I got a well done burger.

After peeling the tomatoes off the burger was pretty good. The French onion soup was highly disappointing when I saw the Kraft single style slice of cheese on top. Absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant with sit down dining to offer French onion soup with processed cheese that doesn’t melt well on top. What was so unfortunate was the soup broth was delicious. Although the bread inside had gone completely mush the broth was on point. They have a good start with a good dish there if they can afford to get better cheese and make sure the bread doesn’t turn to mush before serving.

My wife and sister-in-law both got a chicken sandwich and enjoyed it for the most part minus the fries. My father-in-law got the Reuben and loved it minus the fries. And my little girl got some type of mac and cheese from the kids menu, I’ll never understand why restaurants try to make mac and cheese fancy for kids. They don’t like rich cheeses or smoked flavors for the most part. The cheesy shells were smoky and bland.

The service was average, it did take 30 minutes after we ordered to get food. The bathroom was dirty the walls are dirty. Overall I can’t say I wouldn’t go back but I wouldn’t recommend it over so many other restaurants on main Street.
