Thank goodness they are open!!! It’s high noon and we’re going to the Illinois State Fair to see Def Leppard! The lot was full so we pulled in here but you can’t tell they’re open with the sun beaming on the windows! Saved! Pizza only but plenty of drink selections.

If you are looking for a dive bar. Here is the place for you. I didn’t feel safe in there at all. And they claim to be an Irish bar but for a few Guinness lights and Guinness on tap. That is about the extent of them being an Irish bar. They didn’t even have Harp on tap. That is Guinness’ light version beer. I won’t ever be back in there.

Cute for a neighborhood dive bar. Pulls it off well. Cheap beer, good people, fun place to go with friends or even family. There’s all sorts of fun stuff on the walls to look at and a smoking area if that’s your vibe. I had a good time and wouldn’t mind going back again.

This is a north end landmark. Located directly across from the State Fair grounds. Free peanuts by the barrel! It’s old and has a real “tavern” feel. I think it’s a great place to meet friends and have a beer. One of the few places that has Schlitz and Shiner in a bottle.

This bar would be so much better if the bartenders were less rude. It’s such a cool local northend bar but multiple times I have had terrible service from Deanna. The other bartenders were great and I almost want to give this 2 or 3 stars because of them but Deanna was so awful I cannot rate it higher than a 1.
