Came in on a rainy Friday afternoon, got the lunch special 1 slice, 6 wings and a soda for $9.75. Wife has been talking about how good this place is for years and I finally got a chance to try it. Hands down best pizza and wings around. Service was great, music was great.

This is our new favorite lunch spot!
My husband and I just moved to the area and were not sure where to eat, but didn’t want to run all the way to Morehead or Cape Cateret for lunch and happened to notice this cute little shop next to the gas station. Where we’re from that’s typically a good indication that the food is going to be good.
We wanted to try different things, so my hubby got a mushroom buger (all the way) and I got 2 slices of pizza, to go. It only took about 15 minutes to get our food and young woman who took our order brought our food out to the car, which was unexpected but awesome! As soon as we got our food my husband tried his fries, which were delicious, they tasted hand cut and so fresh! I also had him peek into my pizza box as the box was much larger than I expected, to my surprise it was HUGE!! I had definitely over ordered, but I was so delighted as I was not expecting them to nearly that large. When we got home my husband unwrapped his burger, which was also HUGE and surprisingly found chili on it. We were both shocked as “all the way” does not include chili back home. At first he was a little nervous to try it, but after the first bite he was in love. I also tried, eventhough I’m not a fan of veggies or mushrooms on my burger, but HOL-E-COW it was one of the best burgers I have even eaten. The addition of the chili was excellent. The pizza was also delicious, greasy, cheesy, thin but perfectly cooked. Just the way like my pizza. I was delicious and made for two good meals!
Overall the food was phenomenal, especially for the price, and we will definitely be adding this to our weekly restaurant list.

Went in for dinner around 7:30pm Thursday night with my daughter and ordered mozzarella sticks, chicken tinders, and spaghetti with 2 extra meatballs… order came up quickly as of 10-15 min all together. Everything was hot except my plate (spaghetti and meatballs). No more than room temp. The red sauce and meat balls hit my lips with a cold touch I ate no more than 1/4 of the plate (ate no more, was disgusted by temperature of food being served) and was discounted %40 off that meal. In my eyes if I ate more than yes that would be reasonable. Instead I ate my daughter’s left over tenders and the little bit of appetizer that was left from my youngin. Disappointed in the kitchen staff as food may not be made to order.

The locals love this place! We popped in late one Sunday afternoon in a bathing suit, no less! Franks came highly recommended to me because of their wings. I have to say these were some of the meatiest wings I have ever eaten. They offer a variety of sauces, but note, they are very particular about how you order the wings and sauce accompaniments. We opted for pizza too. While good, I think the wings were the shiner. The draft beer was ice cold and served timely.
The thing that I loved most was the greeter/hostess/server. She played many roles from the moment we walked in until we left, and handled them all masterfully. I even overheard her training a new teenage girl who appeared to be there for a summer job. With a cheery attitude and keen attention on our satisfaction, she was a delight and clearly well loved by many as folks kept coming in, greeting her by name and swapping stories. And, I am so sorry I cannot remember her name. If you are the usual Sunday afternoon server at Frank’s, please read this and know you made an impression on us!
Frank’s is a small, local comfortable spot serving consistently good food. Get off the beaten path and pull in for a try!

My husband picked up take out from here while he was in town for work. We live in New Bern. The salad was decent and the pizza was okay, but it definitely could’ve stayed in the oven longer. However, the baked ziti was horrible. In my husband’s words, the baked ziti was “trash.” There was barely any sauce, it was mostly just pasta and cheese. Definitely not worth $14 for the ziti.

Friendly staff well kept dining space. The food is ok a little greasy for my taste, but that’s how alot of people like it in this area. For most people the grease adds flavor, technically this means real cheese and fresh meats. I’m sure this is a secret, but 6 paper was normal for me, this time 1 paper towel, but the taste was awesome. Beyond my understanding either way *WOW* this a secret that will probably stay one even in the GOSSIP LAND of Broad Creek/Newport. Thank you for making Frank’s better. This is why I added stars.
