We ordered a cheesesteak and pizza. The cheesesteak sub was good. The steak was high quality. Pizza was a good NY style. Staff was friendly and has a family vibe. We drove 35 mins to try Frank’s and we’d come back again. People were there talking to the owner like he’s a celebrity (and took photos w him). He took the time to talk to his customers, asked about where they were from and gave a nice personal experience. Nice guy and place!

We drove a hour to check this spot out. Maybe I went on a bad day – NYE. It was super crowded with orders lined up. I ordered ahead with a 50 minute pickup time. We got our order about 10 minutes past. Considering how busy they were, it was ready and appreciated that.

We got the 12 inch NY style pepperoni and margherita – each $18.99. I was so excited to try it and the pizza had good flavor, but the crust of the pizza was ROCK hard. It was very hard to chew.

We also got the small cheesesteak on a seeded roll – $16.99. Loved the seeded roll. The flavor was good as long as it had cheese on it. Unfortunately, after the top, the middle and bottom was very dry. The cheese was barely on top and didn’t look anything like IG. Maybe I’ll try again, but not worth the drive or cost for the quality I got.

The inside of Frank’s is very clean and organized. Nevaeh was very friendly and helpful while taking my order!!! The wait time wasn’t to bad even though they were busy. My cheese steak sub was delicious 10/10!!!! . Bread toasted well with perfect amount of seasoning and cheese was amazing. The fries were also very delicious! Nice and crispy seasoned fries. Wish I got a large .

I saw this restaurant on WBAL11 a few weeks and saw how delicious their cheesesteaks were and decided to try them out. We went around 7:30pm Friday Jan 23rd. The place was a bit packed but we were able to put our order in and was told there would be a 45 minute wait and we would receive a text when its ready. Since we do not live far we went home. We got the text and came back to pickup food was ready and everything was still hot. We get home and was shocked by the presentation of these cheesesteaks! They were DRY looking and there was only cheese on the top and middle. We both asked for mayo lettuce and shrimp. Look how they put UNSEASONED SHRIMP on top of the sandwich. We couldn’t find the mayo or the lettuce except at the very bottom of the extremely dry and hard seedless rolls. THESE CHEESESTEAKS WERE DRY, TASTELESS, CHEESELESS, AND DISGUSTING. I guess that appearance on WBAL11 was to get clientele because they lied on the flavor and overall quality of their food. I AM PISSED -To pay $66 for (2) 12 inch cheesesteaks that look and taste this bad.

The Official Frank’s Pizza & Pasta Scorecard

We havent been in a minute, so we decided to spin the block on Franks and the results are in! If you’re not eating like this, are you even eating?!

The Gourmet Pizza:
The Vibe: Italian sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms that actually taste fresh.
The Verdict: Crust was on point and the toppings didn’t play around.
Score: 9.2/10 — A solid classic that never misses!

The Ribeye Cheesesteak:
The Vibe: Hand-sliced ribeye, fried onions, and the “Double Trouble” cheese combo (Cooper Sharp and Provolone).
The Verdict: BAABY!! That ribeye was tender and that cheese was melting into my soul. The lettuce and tomato added that perfect crunch.
Score: 9.8/10 — It’s practically a spiritual experience in a roll!

Final Thoughts: My taste buds are winning, but my diet is currently in witness protection. ‍♀️

Like most people in the reviews, after seeing an article about Frank’s on the interwebs, deeming it the best pizza and cheesesteak in the area, we had to give it a try ourselves. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, onion rings and two “small” cheesesteaks on regular rolls. The cheesesteaks are huge, well packed and absolutely incredible. Perfectly seasoned, the bun was toasted to a crunch on the outside with a soft inside still, the perfect ratio of toppings, cheese and meat. The cheese was extremely flavorful as well! Even eating it after our 40min drive home (read: not fresh) it was a solid 9.5/10. No notes. The pizza was great too! The tomato sauce is insanely flavorful. You can TASTE the freshness of the tomatoes. The consistency, again, is perfect. Not floppy, not burnt, the perfect in between. The onion rings were delicious as well. Crunchy and not greasy. 100% Worth the trip.

Hands down the best pizza in Maryland and I’m not just saying that because of the Portnoy review. Amazingly thin cracker-like crispy Margherita pizza. No flop, great char, great sauce and cheese… And the Big Mama Burrata pizza is also to die for. The atmosphere is EXACTLY what I want my situation pizza pizzeria to feel like. Great people. If you disagree, it’s okay. You’re wrong! Great job, guys! We’ll be back.

Absolutely worth the hype and worth a drive. Be prepared for a long wait (ordered on Uber Eats and ended up waiting over an hour) but the staff were super nice and the food was delicious. The cheesesteak is probably the best I’ve had- competes with Angelo’s in Philly. Pizza was perfect crust and fresh ingredients. Will absolutely be back!

Franks Pizza is the best . I have made the trip from Reisterstown to Franks on several occasions. So yummy ! My daughters and I love the pizza both regular and Detroit style , pasta and subs. Staff is so awesome , friendly and I love that they remember me the owners that they are always so pleasant and go out of there way to say hi !!! Definitely worth the trip every time .

The food was so good that for the first time in my life I had to google “can you pass out from eating to much?” because I was close but didn’t want to stop. THATS how good it is!!
The service however was a mixed experience. Some of the staff were very welcoming, but the lady that took our order however was rude and judgmental about what we were ordering. She acted like we were ordering too much (it was just two pizzas, a pasta and a cheesesteak) and when I told her what dressing I’d like on the side salad that comes with the pasta she made a face like “why the hell would you order that??”. It was just the house Italian.. just a shame to have such an oddly rude service experience when the food was absolutely phenomenal! I really hope another location comes to Baltimore in the future!
