If you’re dealing with pizza and food on a plate, you shouldn’t be handling cash or the register. I went in for one slice, and when the slice was done, no one was there to collect my money. I had to search around for one of the busy three people to take my money for the pizza.. The register is buried in the back next to other food and items in the kitchen/Pizza prepare area.. the place did not look clean at all. The only one who looked up. The car was the Spanish gentleman in the back making pizza. Everyone else looked, overwhelmed and dingy.. when I got in the car and took a bite of the slice. I noticed the smell of the cheese before I bit it. It was a smell. I only get from very few pizzerias that I have been to in my life.. It was a smell of poor quality cheese and are not so good pasta sauce at all.. the cheese and the sauce were both to my opinion, not tolerable. My three year-old also agreed that the pizza was not good which now I have to go to another place to get him dinner because that was just awful.. I did not taste any basil did not taste any oregano or definitely not fresh ingredients. I hope this pizza shop can do better in the future.
First time I went, I had a slice of their Margherita Vodka. It was just OK. What really threw me for a loop though was the price. $9 for a single specialty slice and a Pure Leaf iced tea? Sheesh.
Second time I went in, I got a slice of their Salad pizza. It was just decent. It was more lettuce and onions than anything, barely any eggplant on it, and the crust had zero taste. Again, I was thrown for a loop when the total came out to $8 for that slice and a simple Poland Springs water!
Last time I went, I figured OK, I’ll play it safe this time, and try a slice of their plain pizza. That was the biggest mistake in my life. I’ve had pizza from everywhere in this state, some bad, some good, some just passable, but this single plain pizza slice had to be the worst single slice of pizza I have ever had. Complete slop. So thin, that it was impossible to even pick up and eat, you had to literally fold this thing twice. Both the cheese and the crust were completely tasteless. Also, the cheese was super-oily, dripping from the slice like a waterfall. This plus a Poland Spring water came out to $6. Unbelievable greed here. Do yourself a favor, go to Nicky G’s down the road, you can get 2 large slices and a water for $6. Go to Tony’s down the street. Go to King’s Pizza. Just go anywhere but this place. Their other food might taste good, but I’ll never try it, because after 3 failed attempts, they no longer get my business. Sorry Frank’s, I really wanted to like you, but you missed the mark.
