We came here to try somewhere we haven’t visited. The owner and the waitress were very nice and engaging. On Tuesday they have sliders for like 1.80, which you can’t even get a MacDonald’s for that price. It was better too. We also ordered a BLT and a double cheeseburger. Both excellent. Seems like he cuts his own fries and they are huge and also excellent. We also got the apple pie. We tried their chicken lemon rice and beans soups, both were good. The cup is actually a bowl size. The restaurant is kind of small but there was plenty of room. The one thing that was there was little to no air-conditioning. He had a fan blowing and that helped. It is super hot and humid and it was just a little warm. For three of us with two soups the bill was 37.00.

I know i’m not the most approachable person and am often extremely short. The customer service is really great and they all do try really hard. Most importantly they are very sweet to my daughter without over stepping even paying for her meal. I appreciate how they do try with their customer base on a personal level. The food is well and nicely portioned for its price. I hope they stay in business for a long time

What a hidden gem! Frank and his ladies are worth the trip! The food was great-I loved that my blueberry pancakes came out Mickey Mouse style❤️ The food was hot, fresh and yummy! The atmosphere was so so comfortable… And very clean as well…. It had the comfortability of eating breakfast at a friend’s house! The staff was incredibly friendly and Frank was very friendly and charming to boot! Would definitely eat here again and again! If you’re in the area, give this small business a try, you won’t be sorry
Footnote:It’s easy to miss the sign when heading north on Harper because it sits kind of back behind the building but much easier to see going south on Harper…

Frank was very welcoming. Ordered my usual breakfast. He served it up quickly. Everything was excellent! Eggs were over easy as requested. That doesn’t always happen in other places. His other customers were nice and friendly. I chatted it up with a nice couple. They had nothing but praise for Frank.

I called and asked do you use canned corned beef, or real corned beef in your corned beef hash? She said real corned beef. So I drove 18 minutes just for this! Absolutely awful this is canned corned beef hash! It smells and tastes like dog food. My first and last experience here

There are quite a few pros and cons about this little (probably seats about 25-30 ppl) family diner. I’ll start with the positive. The prices are low, the meals are decent sized, coffee was fresh, and our service was prompt and friendly.

On the down side, the restaurant needs a good cleaning. In the corners, on the windows (especially entry doors), dust is heavy on fixtures etc. Our group was split on the taste, I thought my omelette was good but the others thought their food was so-so. None of our toast was properly buttered, just a spot in the center, it was soft too, like it had been sitting for awhile and not hot when buttered.

We found hairs on 2 dishes, but did not send the meals back. Not sure if it was the waitress or cook (he did not have on a hat or hair net). I would probably rate this a 2.5, but they don’t have that option.
Update;
I tried the restaurant again, did a carryout of two sausage egg McMuffins, no hash browns or extras, they charged me $10… that’s the last time I am going here.

When we walked in we were greeted by Frank himself, he was really friendly. So it started on a good note and things only went up from there. My fiance got the club sandwich and said it was great. I got the #3 breakfast special- 3 pancakes, 3 meat(I got sausage patties) and 2 eggs(over medium) and added on chocolate chips to the pancakes and toast to dip in my eggs. It was perfect! And the bill only came out to like 23 dollars which isn’t bad at all. Service was wonderful as well. We do breakfast/lunch once a week and we are already looking forward to going back!

Frank and his staff are extremely friendly and inviting. We love coming here to chat and enjoy breakfast or lunch. Frank always gives us a pancake on the house for our little man, who absolutely loves it. Food is great, atmosphere is great, overall a great experience. We love going to Frank’s!
