I went here with my friends to treat ourselves, and treat ourselves we DID. Wonderful Italian restaurant with some of the best creamy pasta I’ve tasted. The dessert was also fabulous, don’t be afraid to try something new here because I’ll bet it’s delicious

The atmosphere is lovely if you want to go for a nice evening out. All the staff are lovely people, we are definitely coming by again!

What a fun little place. The service was exceptional. The entree’s were delicious. Skipping the dessert next time. It had no flavor, but will definitely be back, YES the entrees are that good! The sauce takes like traditional SUNDAY sauce!

This place was amazing! The food was phenomenal! I will definitely be back next time I am in Kansas City. Also it’s a good idea to call ahead of time to see if there is a table available or make a reservation. It’s a tiny little restaurant, and it fills up fast. They do also do to-go orders I noticed while we were there. I also have to add, their Dr Pepper was fantastic.

The food is delicious. For appetizers you cannot go wrong with the calamari or the toasted ravioli. I get them every time. Every pasta dish I have had has been great – fettuccine, pasta with clams, salmon… you name it. YUM. It’s also very affordable – and free bread! Haha. I’m glad I live close. The area is so cute.

Quaint neighborhood restaurant established in 1931. Order from the menu brunch selections served fresh, hot, and delicious! First floor dining area seats around 30 with additional seating upstairs and outside. Excellent service by Grace. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem!

Husband grew up going here, hasn’t been in 30 years and has lately been craving their salad dressing. Back when he went, Frank’s was in the building across the street but he said the House Italian dressing is exactly how he remembered it. I loved it also, had just the right amount of spice to it. I got the chicken Parmigiano, he got the spaghetti and meatballs. Both were absolutely fantastic, sauce was a bit sweeter than I’m used to but I loved it. On top of the food being great our server was amazing too, I can’t remember his name but he was very friendly, attentive, gave recommendations and just took great care of us. Thank you for a great date night, we definitely will be trying the breakfast if we’re ever in the area on a weekend morning.

We just tried Frank’s for the first time and it won’t be our last. The calimari was fresh, tender and cooked to perfection. Our entrees were hot, delicious and served with a loaf of hot bread and a lovely dinner salad. The customer service was remarkable. Frank’s is a real throwback to restaurants back before corporations started mass producing factory prepped food. A real treat!!

Update… We have been back many times since our last visit and the only real change is that instead of a loaf of warm bread they now bring warm bread sticks which are amazing.

Heard a lot about this pace and decided to give it a try. The zucchini was quite good. The bread was delicious. The salads were the best part of the meal. I had the lasagne rolls. I wasn’t a fan of the stuffing inside or the sugo. My husband said the meatballs tasted good but the texture wasn’t right. Service was not great. My husband got drink refills; I didn’t. The place is extremely small. Parking on the street. Also the server never asked if we had any issues with the food.

We dropped in for brunch on Sunday and had a delightful meal! We tried the Venetian eggs Benedict, the pasta with clams, and the bread pudding. Everything was delicious.

We found Franks in Parkville when looking for a place that serves breakfast. It wasn’t too busy right after opening but got busier after an hour. Service was friendly, food was fantastic. Loved the cute building and the strip of businesses around.

We came after a nice walk around the English Landing Park and along the river. The whole experience made for a delightful Sunday morning. After our walk we ran into family that live in the area and mentioned Franks. They told us it was great so we stopped in.

After a couple cups of coffee we ordered, starting with the bread pudding which really was some of the best I’ve had. It reminded me a bit of the bread pudding they used to have at McCoys in Westport but this was more rum raisin than chocolate. The linguini with clams came with a choice of salad, the Caesar was delicious. The entrees came out and the linguini and clams were reminiscent of our family favorite in upstate NY, it was delicious and had a lovely sauce, the noodles were perfectly done. The Venetian Eggs Benedict were delightfully creative and well constructed, balanced and plated.

The food was well executed with lots of flavor In everything and the restaurant had a great ambiance. I’d highly recommend checking Franks out!

This was located in a cute downtown area with lots of cute little shops tucked in together.
We stopped just after lunchtime and had ravioli and italian sausage in a sweet red sauce. Let me tell you- this is the best red sauce I’ve had with just enough sweetness to cut the acidity of the tomatoes and just enough chunkyness to give it a little texture.
We had chicken alfredo- the sauce has a flavor that will grow on you.
