Have a good pizza. They use a good cheese and marinara. Pizza dough could be a little firmer and well done for my taste. Garlic knots aren’t bad either.
The reviews said this was the place to be, yet the experience I got was no where close to the reviews
I ordered the Fettucine Alfredo, with Pasta Fagioli soup, and it came with garlic bread
The soup was the only good thing I ate all night, I’d eat a bowl of that every night
The garlic bread looked like someone took store bought bread and passed it off as restaurant quality. I’d suggest not leaving this in a loaf, but already seperated by the time it gets to the table. The cut marks were shallow, and if you are going to cut bread, cut it all the way.
The pasta was the thing I looked forward to the most, but what I got was worse than store bought sauce on noodles.
The chicken was smothered in sauce. That should be the shining element of the dish. The chicken had no flavor, as if it was boiled like a hot dog. The sauce was way too thin, and if I had a little less of the sauce, but thicker and more flavorful, my thoughts on the dish would have been much better.
A side note: the lights in the restaurant kept dimming for a second every few minutes, as if you were 5 minutes from a Broadway show. I don’t know if that’s normal, but it was noticable.
Lastly, 2 hours before the restaurant closed, the place was empty, save me and another couple sitting nearby. I know there are a lot of options in the area, but if the ownership improves the food, I promise people will come. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful, and maybe I just got the wrong item on the menu.
There was a tad more cheese than sauce, the slice drooped, and the pie was a little greasy for my personal tastes. The crust was great, and it had the right amount of sauce.
The atmosphere and staff were tremendous.
11/13/23 back for dinner w/my Aunt.
She had her regular dish of sausage and peppers with penne, she loves that.
I got the Frank’s special chicken over linguine, it was really good. (Pic)
5/7/21 update:
Back for family dinner. Service was really good, thanks Olga!
I had linguine with white clam sauce, really good. The house red and a salad. Garlic bread is really good too!
Always good! Been eating here for many years. Friendly staff too.
