Oh wow. Italians might be angry if they realize the pizza here is called ‘Italian’. I’ve never seen pizzas with undercooked tomatoes, whole olives, or largely chopped antichokes.

Went to the Williamson Rd location to eat for the first time and it wasn’t bad. The garlic knots were a little tough if you like them softer and the Alfredo didn’t have enough flavor for me. The shrimp with the noodles was cooked very well with a great “grilled taste” and the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich was really good. While the servers were nice, it wasn’t busy in-house when we went, but our table was not visited again after our food was placed on our table until we asked for our check at the end. I would come back to try the pizza and get the sandwich and give it another shot. Pics: @nokesidefoodie

I ordered my son a kids spaghetti. The spaghetti had little to no sauce & no meat. The noodles were dry & were sticking together. I ordered myself a Supreme Stromboli with meat sauce for dipping, they said that they didn’t have meat sauce, just marinara; I added an extra one. The marinara was ice cold like it had been sitting in the fridge. And after eating half my Stromboli, I found blonde hair inside my Stromboli. I just threw it in the trash after that. My fiance wanted to order himself something but decided not when he asked for 2 common Italian dishes, & the lady said they didn’t offer neither. The Franks in my hometown (Danville, Va) is excellent, authentic, fresh, & has a variety of dishes & sauces on their menu. This particular one in Roanoke, VA is the absolute WORST restaurant I’ve ever experienced! I wanted to return it but they had closed by the time I got back to my hotel & opened my food. I would not recommend this Location.

Waited 20 minutes for 3 slices of cold pizza. They sprinkled a little bit of cheese on top of the pizza which was barely melted the pepperoni wouldn’t even stay on the pizza. The two salads looked like they been sitting out all day. Wish I could post a picture of the salads. I would not recommend franks pizza on Williamson rd!

The food was good, but nothing about it knocked my socks off.

Great Italian food, very friendly staff. They have a great lunch buffet. It’s a good clean restaurant. The only reason I didn’t read it five stars, it’s a little pricey, and it takes a good while to get your meal after you order it. But I wouldn’t let that stop you from coming here it’s great!

The pizza was not hot and supposedly it just came out of the oven per waitress. We asked that it be put back in the oven to get it hot….I was not impressed with this restaurant I have eaten at other Frank’s around the area with no complaints with the food. Not sure why this one off of Williamson Rd is not as good as some of the others.

The calzone was delicious, but you might want to pay more attention to the special instructions on the order. My veggie calzone with no onions or green peppers was delivered full of……you guessed it! Onions and green peppers. Picked them out, but they were plentiful. Everything else was good.

Worst service ever and an attitude to go with it. My coworker and I went for lunch. The normal staff was training a new person and we still had issues. She walked past us 5 separate times when our drink cups were empty and slid to the edge of the table. Not once did they not acknowledge us, We finally had to flag them down and she still stopped and talked to/hugged a person on the way to us. We then asked for a box. She brought our drinks back but not in to-go cups, which should’ve been insinuated when we asked for a to-go box and had jackets on. I walked up to the cashier to pay and she tried to charge me for the buffet and a drink, when I only had a water because the soda machine was broken. Keep in mind that the menu has the buffet cost scratched out, so it’s never clear. The cashier rolled her eyes when I asked her to correct the price. I had given her my credit card at this point. While she was running my payment, I informed her that the service was terrible today. She refused to make eye contact or acknowledge my comment so I said, “excuse me”….her response was “I heard you” with an attitude. No apology was given or even a thank you for paying. I was not asking for a discount or anything. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.
