I ordered Frank’s original Eggs Benedict, and despite being in a bit of a hurry, the wait staff was incredibly accommodating. They let me customize my order, and it came out quickly, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious.
The staff was so polite, and the atmosphere, while maybe the only downside being a bit quirky, had this really low-key charm.
It felt like a group of friends just relaxing together – perfect for a small gathering.
Highly recommend!
We recently visited Frank’s Diner in North Spokane and were absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is that of a classic, cozy American diner, and the food is simply beyond praise. It’s the perfect place to start your day.
Here is what we ordered and what we especially liked:
Frank’s Spuds with Bacon (or similar dish)
This was a real hit! Crispy potato rounds, topped with tender scrambled eggs and wrapped in perfectly cooked strips of bacon. The sauce on the plate added a nice tang. This dish is very filling and fantastically delicious — the perfect appetizer or starter.
Chicken Fried Steak with Gravy and Mashed Potatoes (or Broccoli)
The main course was superb. A crispy crust, tender meat inside, all covered in a thick, rich “country gravy,” sprinkled with spices. It’s worth noting that even the side dish (we had broccoli) was perfectly prepared, not just boiled. The portion is huge, enough to last all day!
Belgian Waffle
For dessert (or as part of the breakfast), we had the waffle. It was golden, fluffy inside, and slightly crispy outside. The scoop of butter and the glaze perfectly complemented it, making the flavor balanced and not too sweet.
Omelet/Burrito and Fruit
We also ordered an omelet with filling, served with salsa and sour cream. Excellently prepared, the filling was fresh and juicy. The fresh fruit platter (cantaloupe, grapes, orange) was a wonderful addition, bringing lightness and vitamins.
Overall Impression
The service was fast and friendly, the coffee was hot and always refilled on time. Frank’s Diner is more than just a meal; it’s a whole experience. If you are looking for a great, hearty, and genuinely delicious breakfast or brunch in Spokane, this is the place to go! Highly recommend!
Franks has a great ambiance, it’s located in a beautiful railway car it is a must stop not just for the railway car, the staff is excellent as is the food. There is bar seating and tables for four. If you have a group they have one table that will sit 7-8 adults.
They do not take reservations, you can put your name on the waiting list and they will text you when your table is available.
They have a wonderful menu.
There were seven of us but my girlfriend had Boar Bacon Benedict and I had a Florentine Omelette they were excellent.
Others in our party had Chicken and Waffles and the honored a request of Benedict without eggs.
Easy to have a conversation, plenty of parking. They are always busy so sometimes parking and getting in quick might be sn issue, all depends on the time and the day.
Sorry no food pictures, I was hungry!
