I cannot say enough good things about this place! It was such a lucky find for me. I’m here for the weekend for a conference, and this came up with great reviews and I can see why.

Located in an old train car the outside and the inside are so cute.

My server Melissa, was fantastic. Efficient and genuinely friendly. I got the works omelette with hash browns with added onions and it was so delicious. I can’t believe how good the biscuits are! They slice them in half and fry them on the grill so they all have an extra crispiness to them but as soon as you bite down, they just melt in your mouth. I try not to eat bread, but these were so worth it!

The portions are generous and there was no way I could finish half of it. I told her that I would definitely come back the next day for breakfast too. She recommended the meatloaf Benedict and the fried green tomatoes. I complied and again, they were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Kudos to the chef for being super organized and getting the plates out quickly. The food is so tasty. Thank you chef!

Love the atmosphere. Super cute place for a late brunch. Service was good. Everyone who worked there seemed to really enjoy working at this establishment.

I really enjoyed my chicken fried steak.

Only downside it that it was a little chilly in there. But that’s not too surprising with the thin train walls and the freezing temperatures outside.

Overall I do recommend thie place.

Stopped in for breakfast while traveling through Spokane. Service was INSANELY good. Very friendly, helpful, and most importantly quick to refill your coffee and get your order to you hot off the grill. Eating in a Presidential train car turned diner was a neat experience. You are able to watch the cook fix your meal on an open grill right in front of you. There are bar seats, booths for two, or larger booths for families. Food was good maybe a bit pricey but the overall experience made it worth the extra $. It was nice to see the staff talking to locals like they were family. After a few minutes they made me feel like local family as well. I was told Franks is a staple in the community by one customer. VERY glad I stopped in.

Food was excellent. Very good place is very unique. Train car old school rail car sit up at the counter. You can watch the cooks, do their job and talk to them. Food was excellent. Had a country fried steak hash browns were nice and crispy. The server suggested Hollandaise sauce on the hash browns very good idea Unique good place It’s definitely going to come back Try the elk

This place is great! A true authentic rail car from the early 1900’s repurposed as a diner! Talk about atmosphere! You can see the grill when you walk by the bar stools, they are not hiding anything and they shouldn’t their food is exceptional. I’m only visiting town for a few weeks but I’ve been here 5 times in the last 4 days, it is that good. Both menus served all day as well, so you can get breakfast for dinner. The service is second to none as well. I cannot say enough about this place. Keep on doing what you do here, because your doing it right!

What a wonderful experience! I was feeling in the dumps today and wanted to try something new! Food was amazing, service was amazing. I felt very welcome and comfortable there. All the staff were very friendly and professional. I sat by the grills and it was nice and toasty on a rainy night. Had the Southern Caprese Benedict with gravy and grilled onion topped hashbrowns. Such a delight.

Absolutely recommend.

Been coming here for so many years. This is an obligatory stop if you want a great Spikane food experience. Old school diner in a train caboose. How can you go wrong? With Frank’s Diner, you won’t!

We got breakfast most recently. The chicken fried steak and eggs was among the best Ive ever had. The staff was on point and friendly. The atmosphere is always top notch.

For the money, the food is a great value. Filling and tasty. In this day and age, we need more Frank’s Diners. Yes they are often very busy, you may have to wait. Absolutely worth it, and I don’t care to wait at most restaurants.

Do yourself a favor, plan to stop by here for a meal. You won’t regret it.

This restaurant is great! They have gluten free choices. The food and friendly server made for a very good experience. Our food came out super hot and at a decent speed. The bathroom was very clean. I am definitely coming back to try more of the awesome menu options.
