Pretty cool place. Went here on the advice of a local who recomended this spot over a local burger place. First of all, you have to be open minded about the place. It’s not your average restaurant bar. It looks like this place got stuck in time, like in the 50’s or 60’s. There may still be spider webs from the 60’s…. the staff looks rough (the waiter asked us to call him dog), but are actually pretty nice. The chips and salsa are good and the food that followed was worth it. It would have got 5 stars but there was, at times, cigarette smoke from other patrons. Smoking is allowed, we didn’t know that and don’t really like to eat in smoking places. But, we were already there and just decided to give it a shot.

They gave my friend and I menu with prices so we ordered according to those prices. The bill comes out and it’s $37 when it should’ve been about $22 according to the menu and when asked about it they said those were the old prices that they just changed them. So basically they’ll charge you whatever they feel like at that moment.

The owner Frank is such a NICE, GIVING, SWEET, AWESOME GUY! He made a Victorian, historic house into a restaurant! The Pancho’s or paco nachos ( not sure of the correct name) are the BEST! LOVE THE EMPLOYEES! Ask for “Dog” he will HELP you with ANYTHING you need! Very respectful, hard working older gentleman! Oh and the prices on the food and drinks ….. When you pay the ticket you will LITERALLY SAY: HUH HOW MUCH!?? LOWEST PRICES IN ALL THE 200 MILE SURROUNDING AREA!! Hope you like Marilyn Monroe, the restaurant is legit COVERED with this woman… LOVE IT EVEN MORE BECAUSE OF IT!! 10 STARS IF I COULD!!

Great fun and atmosphere for a hole in the wall! We have been celebrating the 4th of July here for many years. Tonight a Monday when they are usually closed they opened for us and had live music!

This place is a local dive, a joint, a hole in the wall — and great! It has no A/C so is only open for dinner (opens at 6PM) and features live music at 9PM on Friday and Saturday nights. Marilyn Monroe watches you constantly, as the walls are littered with an homage to her. Where else can you get a HUGE T-bone steak garnished with an 8-ounce rib-eye for $20? Dignitaries the world over have eaten here, at least any of them who have passed into this area for its world-class quail hunting. The place is legendary.

Sadly, by the time we learned of Frank’s in Hebronville, both Paco and more recently, Big Bob had passed away.

We stopped last night and only take out was available. We were well fed and enjoyed the tasty food but missed the chance to get the full Frank’s experience.

It is sad, but what a legacy that was created by this great family.

Housed in a really old dilapidated building. Off the beaten path. Mostly locals. You’ll find cold beer. Good grub. I had a steak and fideo. Jukebox, pool tables and a great waiter who goes by “Dog”.

Went to take out my family to eat, saw 3 cars in the street, 3 tables waiting for food. Waited an hour for our food asked if it was even close, was told no, paid for our drinks, went outside and saw 16 vehicles and went to D.Q. ate 15 my minutes later.. Sad cause we have been coming for years and sat in the hot restaurant to show love instead of driving through and got put last! Next time for sure going to order over the phone, so we can be priority….. So wanted envueltos and to give my pg chic enchiladas she was craving! HARSHED
