Walking in as first time customers, not welcoming at all. We patronized yesterday. The guy didn’t greet us at all!! Seems to be prejudice!!! The food was ok we asked for well done. However mine was cooked medium rare (unappetizing). They corrected it , and I had it replaced. No compensation whatsoever to their error, and I had to wait again.
Lastly, the burger to bun ratio was not good. Lacked in flavor. Wouldn’t recommend any new associates.

10 years ago I wouldn’t have expected to find veggie, salmon and other interesting burgers and bowls in Wheaton!
Try the veggie burger which is the old school type rather than the new impossible meat kind.
I found this to have to be super nice, patient, and willing to answer any question or explain anything on the menu that you needed help with.
Looking forward to going back to try the warm green bowl or the salmon burger next time!

Great burgers! It’s a small shop but there is actually more seating than it initially looks like when you walk in. We were very pleased with the burgers which were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The fries were also cooked just right and came out piping hot. There’s a decent selection of bottled and canned drinks, but no soda fountain. There is also Nicaraguan food available (same kitchen but the menu is branded El Chante) which seemed quite popular as well. I’ll have to go back and try that sometime soon. But, 100% recommended for a tasty burger!

Hole in the wall feel. But it’s $16 for a burger and fries Good options on the fries. They got good veggies for the burgers but the burgers themselves are just typical diner burgers and not especially large. And the burger sauce just tastes like Frank’s red hot

Best burger I’ve had in MoCo in a very long time-and it was a delivery order. Smashed-style burgers, amazing flavor. Don’t skip the fries, crispy (even when delivered), great seasoning. All around 10/10, will be trying more soon.

Ordered an Oyster PoBoy sandwich and Cajun Fries……. Fries were hard, Sandwich may have had 6 Oysters total on the sandwich with a bunch of lettuce and tomato. For a $13 sandwich, I expected much better substance to that sandwich…… more oysters, maybe some kind of Seafood sauce. Worst sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Maybe their burgers are better but if you go, I would mess with the Poboys

Great little burger shop, wish it weren’t so tucked away – had to drive around the block twice to find it.
Once inside I ordered the Cheeseburger combo meal and a chocolate shake. The shake was awesome and I like that they offer Maine brand soda, a nice change from coke/pepsi. The burger was good, very greasy (I recommend flipping it upside down so that the bottom bun doesn’t disintegrate). The fries were good as well, fresh and hot. Staff was friendly and there was plenty of seating.

Great neighborhood spot specializing in smashburgers to satisfy any appetite! Grab a side of fries to complete your meal and you’re golden. Staff is courteous, orders are completed timely and parking is plentiful. Two thumbs way up for all burger afficionados.

Amazing. I love burgers and Franks is that place! I ordered on Grubhub because it was recommended and I had a gift card. The fries & burger were good so I decided to stop in the restaurant the next day. I ordered a burger, fries, strawberry milkshake & kids hot dog. Everything is fresh and taste wonderful. You can tell they do not cut corners. And I’m extremely happy about the fair price point. Staff are very friendly. I would go back and recommend everyone to dine here.
