2.5 stars. This was a rather disappointing stop. After reading all the positive reviews we decided to stop here to eat. The only thing that was good was the Italian beef sandwich. The pulled pork sandwich and brisket burger was underwhelming. Portions were small so we left hungry. Not worth repeating.

Frank’s is honestly one of the best barbecue spots I’ve been to. The food is always delicious and the portion sizes are big, so you definitely leave full. The burger is my personal favorite, it’s juicy and packed with flavor overall just really well done. Everything I’ve tried here has been great, but the burger just makes it stand out. The staff is super friendly and the overall vibe of the restaurant is appealing. Definitely recommend if you’re hungry and want good BBQ!

Its alright tasting but portions are a joke and pricing is heinous. Got 1/3 pound chicken 1/3 pound burnt ends, with 3 sides; 28 dollars. We were very underwhelmed with this place. I live right behind them and produce beef cattle and this is very disappointing.

Amazing sides and meat – we tried many types on their sliders and the fatty ones were our favs. Thanked myself later big time that I bought freezer belly bombs and brisket, but now I’m out and need to make the long journey back

Kudos to Frank’s Backyard BBQ. I called in an order to pick up. I got there and the service is phenomenal. Kind and courteous servers. They packed up my order and I was on my way. Unfortunately one small part of my order was overlooked so I called them and said xxxx was not in my bag. They DELIVERED it immediately. OMG, they are so thoughtful and professional. If you want quality BBQ+ and courteous service, go to Frank’s. It’s the best !!!!!!!!!

Frank’s Backyard BBQ is easily my favorite barbecue spot in the region. Food quality is consistently excellent, and the staff, including Grace, Izzy, and Alyssa, always delivers a great experience. It’s my go-to every time I get the chance to grab barbecue, and recommend that everyone try it if they haven’t already.

Franks BBQ is phenomenal. We ordered the sampler platter, jalapeño belly bombs, and mayo slaw. Hands down the best part was the belly bombs!! I also loved the burnt ends and the pulled pork. Will definitely return

Quality is fantastic. Service was speedy enough. I would just say, prepare to pay for what you get. Cost me about 60 dollars to get 3 entrees and 3 sides to feed 3 people. Pretty much the price youre going to pay at a sit down full service restaurant. If you can get past it being on the expensive side, the quality is phenomenal.

While visiting The Shrine of Christ’s Passion, I came across Frank’s Backyard BBQ. Upon arriving, it didn’t initially look inviting. I am SO glad I decided to give it a go! The hospitality was warm and welcoming. The inside was, well, just as the name states, like a friend’s “backyard BBQ”! I had the rib tips and my friend had the pulled pork. We shared sides, the cole slaw. They serve both versions, with cream and vinegar. I like the creamy one but both were tasty. We also shared the loaded taters. Those were delicious. I ordered the spicy corn. That was also delicious, but I believe it needed a splash of fresh lime juice to brighten it up. Regardless, it was really good. They have three types of sauces on the tables and they are all equally good! The tables are picnic tables and there are some games, like checkers, on the tables. Love it! I will definitely have to make a return trip soon and try something else. I definitely recommend trying this hidden jem. Oh, they also have a patio. And the price is very reasonable.

This place was recommended to me by my parents who are from Illinois. I drove 50 minutes today just to try it and see the hype. It was AMAZING, to say the least. Absolutely the best BBQ i’ve ever had. The prices are extremely fair. Actually pretty cheap for bbq! I got the sampler, which included ribs, brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, 2 pieces of corn bread and homemade pickles. I ordered a few of the sides which are extremely cheap and DELICIOUS!! They range from $2-3 for the smallest size. I got the smoked baked beans, mac n cheese, smoked brussel sprouts, and the brisket chilli. When i tell you it was LIFE CHANGING. Seriously so good. I’ve never had such good baked beans! And the brisket chilli was out of this world! It had LOTS of brisket in it. All the meats were perfectly tender with a great smokey taste. It was all so good, I didn’t even need bbq sauce for any of it, and that says a lot! The homemade banana pudding was unlike any other banana pudding i’ve ever had! You could just TELL it was homemade. The sweet tea was perfect too. The workers and the environment is a solid 10/10 as well! They have picnic benches inside and outside! Such great, friendly vibes! Board games at each picnic bench, several different kinds of bbq sauce to choose from. I wanted to speak to Frank himself to let him know how pleased I was with not only his food, but his entire restaurant, staff, and vibe! Will DEFINITELY be back and I cannot wait! So soooo worth it, if you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out! You could easily go here and ball on a budget as well, the prices are extremely fair!
